I don’t think a huge portion of people watch the drama for it’s “stellar storyline” (come on, saas-bahu crap has been done and dealt with!). It’s called Humsafar - partner/life-partner for a reason. The dynamic/chemistry between Mahira and Fawad is incredible. Dare I say say SRK/Kajol-like? When they’re upset, you really think they’re upset. When romancing…truly romancing. For me, the plot-line fades into the background. It’s pathetic, over-used and too wacko to ever occur. Most of the characters are one-dimensional, I agree. Mahira and Fawad, however…their acting is stellar. That’s what draws everyone in.
