Anyway, it’s ok to watch this serial and accept it for what it is. Some people will love it while others will simply enjoy it for the hour that it’s on. We all have different tastes, and it’s ok to constructively criticize all of these dramas. I love real-life issue dramas, but I will still watch this too.
I think the letter and papa walk Locke will surface before the drama ends. They need to stretch the Dramamine to 20 or 21 episodes. Id found the letter right away they would need as many episodes. It might surface when he is looking for something else. I don't think that there will such a big flaw. The question where Khirad was for 4 years did come up? The viewers come to know why Kiirad doesn't bother telling Asher what happened to her that night. She is not interested in a reconciliation. Just wants her daughter to healthy. So we might have to be a little more patient. I am dying to know what he is asking Sara for forgiveness? Wonder what that is all about? The problem with some of the promos is that they are take. Out of context. Can't really understand what is going on until the episode airs in full.
That might be the intention of the network to peak our curiosity. I just hope it ends well. I must say that QEt ended well. There was a proper ending. I wanted really get Babwr Javed for the mediocre ending of mzzb
actually khirad doesnt know that ashaer never got the letter...shes under the impression that he got the letter, read it and still decided to ditch her like that
Doesn't he find the letter unexpectedly in his wardrobe in the novel too. When Jamal gave him the letter he did not want to read it in anger and threw it away and it flew into his wardrobe or bag and he forgot about it later.
I guess he will find it in the drama too..zara waqt do...
Honestly -- I can't see what the fuss is about. This drama is a fairytale, engrossing as it may be. The characters are so one dimensional, inserted into the storyline predictably so you can see plot twists miles before they come. Everyone thinks irrationally (emotions of convenience for the scriptwriter?) the thing which saves it somewhat is stellar performance by the former veejay and mahira's innate innocence. Ateeqa is doing well as the cold corporate type. The rest are blah. On the whole, over the top and not too progressive. I'll take a Daam any day over this tripe. The spoof on youtube is WAY more interesting and it didn't even have to stretch the actual dialogues too far for the laughs.
I don't think a huge portion of people watch the drama for it's "stellar storyline" (come on, saas-bahu crap has been done and dealt with!). It's called Humsafar - partner/life-partner for a reason. The dynamic/chemistry between Mahira and Fawad is incredible. Dare I say say SRK/Kajol-like? When they're upset, you really think they're upset. When romancing...truly romancing. For me, the plot-line fades into the background. It's pathetic, over-used and too wacko to ever occur. Most of the characters are one-dimensional, I agree. Mahira and Fawad, however....their acting is stellar. That's what draws everyone in.
i'm not too much into humsafer either but of all the stupid dramas on air these days humsafer and maat r only two watchable one. rest lose their charm within a few epis

maat is so not watchable...load of crap puts me to sleep everytime! thank God two more eps and then mata e jaan! =)
What an episode ! A lot of action yet again.
Great acting by atiqa Odho and mahira and also fawad. Those staring moments between fareeda and khirad seemed so natural and loved Khirad answer that " mein laanat baijti hoon aap par , aap ke is ghar par and aap ke bete par" actually the dialogue in that whole scene was brilliant .
The scene where khirad is on the prayer mat, doing duaand crying really touched my heart.
The bed scene with hareem colouring and khirad and ashar sitting next to each other was cute - happy families
oh and Ashar’s hatred is slowly melting, loved the scene when Hareem asks about her parents wedding , he’s looking for the album and has a flash back of Khirad telling how much she loves him
the last half of the episode really got me all emotional :) Great job Fawad and Mahira when they are sitting on Hareem's bed and telling her she has to go to the hospital. It was very subtle but well done showing their emotions. Also we see Asher warming up more and more (which is such a relief!) as he finds the picture albums (haww haaye the infamous letter in the next episode! ;)) and the du'a scene. I liked how they showed that he actually missed Khirad's presence on the bed with Hareem and got up to find her - again very well done. Also when he said Ameen. Great job Sarmad and Farhat in creating those small meaningful scenes!
Gotta love Fareeda aunty's eye makeup :D And Hareem's comment about Daadi not being nice and that she's scared of her was a well made addition to the original. Bachi is smarter than Daddy :D Also enjoyed the Hina Bayat-Sara scene.
yeh the scene where hareem says she doesn’t want dadi to come was good :halo: haha clever girl. My favourite part was where ashar is finding the wedding album and remembers his good times with khirad …
ummmmm what was the point of showing the letter, if it didnt go anywhere! letter scene should have been taken care of in this episode
and btw how the hell did it get in that box anyway
nice episode but not as powerful as last 2 episodes. I have 2 questions please someone answer these! Did Asher read the letter? It was right there! Why didn't he read it originally and why was it put there in the first place? Can everything be addressed in the next 2 episodes? Also why does Asher go to Sara's house? To tell her he doesn't love her to take her as a wife and he wants to reconcile with Khirad?
Really did like the scene wih Sara and Hina b. it shows that she she come around and is regretful o her decision of supporting her evil sister Fareeda. Looks like Fareeda aunty has her share of foes.
Loved today's episode. Everybody did a great job.. even hareem :)
The scene where they are talking to Hareem about the hospital stay was really nicely done. Fawad as usual did a great job, fighting emotions, trying to be strong... it looked so natural. You could see all the emotions.. love, worry, tenderness, fear in his eyes. Mahira did great too. You could see how hard she was trying to be strong for her daughter.
And when she's praying to Allah, saying dua for Hareem.. i cried too .. hehe :)
What I loved best was Farida Aunty's bizzati's by Khirad. And it looks like she's going to be on her own in the end. Sarah's mom has already left her side and maybe Sarah will see some logic too. Looks like Farida's going to be on her own when Khizar tells his story. No moral support from Sarah & Mom.

I think we'll find out the story of the letter in the next episode.
