I totally agree. I think that the popularity of Humsafar has really surprised the stars as well. No they show has come close in recent years. I suppose it has the popularity of Haseena Moins dramas back in the 80s where the whole country would stay home to watch the drama. Now it’s a worldwide audience thanks to YouTube and internet. Heard its really popular in India as well. so in some ways some of them don’t want to be typecast or are trying to relish in the fame.
