Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

True lekin sabar ka phal meetha hota hai. She could have done some Pakistani dramas which become successful and get shown on Zee Zindagi. Bol was great but was a while ago. She could have done that in meantime before waiting for a good movie. Imran Abbas rejected Aashiqui 2 and Bansali's Guzaarish and he still ended up with a Bollywood movie with Bipasha. I'm sure Pakistani female actors would also have these choices.
Just go to Sanam Saeed or Fatime Effendi or Maya Ali's facebook page and it is swamped by admiring messages mostly from Indian fans of the shows on Zee Zindagi. They have a fan base like Fawad Khan and those fans feel like they know them. many want them to visit India. Indian people are quite celebrity crazy and once you get that type of fan following it's hard not to get carried away. Nothing wrong with being Pakistanish. Lot of people like how Pakistani actresses's are more innocent, more sharmeeli and masoom in serials as well as being strong characters. Lot of people from comments ive read by indian fans like that.

If she copies others it won't work. She should be herself and I think that will work better. Everyone is curious about how Pakistanis are especially Pakistani females

You know with the above message for me Humaima can write in urdu if she wants. It doesn't have to be in English. I know a few Urdu written words :) Thanks in advance Dua. Iss shubh kam ke liye aap ko bahut duaayein milengi.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

She is really good looking and has great features. She should def do some ads/endorsements while in India. I think she is maybe better looking than Iman Ali. Lekin it seems all Pakistani females who are in public are photogenic like Hina Rabbani Khar, Iman Ali, Humaima, Mahira Khan and politicians like Maryam Nawaz, Farhanaz Ispahani, Shazia Marri, Sumaira Malik, Marvi Menon, Kashmala Tariq, Ayla Malik.
I totally understand why some Indian media obsesses over Pakistani looks. I don't know how people in Pakistan feel about it. Probably you feel like you're being objectified which is wrong i guess.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

her siblings keep saying she had the best start in bollywood with a 4 star actor. im sorry the low gala is not working kiu k she has nothing to really show yet they have put her in these deep cut galas throughout the movie. its taking away from the actual character.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

Ok now that is funny. Shayad woh yeh picture nahi dekhe phir. Parents are always so biased.
Aap bhi Malik hain? Kuch baat hai kya kyon ki mujhe lagta hai Maliks are one of the most attractive surnames in Pakistan- Humaima, Ayla, Sumaira and Shoaib is alright as well. This point is only valid if you're a Malik otherwise forget i said it.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

Shoaib Malik ne kya kiya. Is it because he is son-in-law of India? Lol.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

4 star would be like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan or Varun Dhawan/Siddharth Malhotra or Ranvir.
To be fair for some people Emran Hashmi is a big star and probably movie will be a hit if it has good songs. Might not be super blockbuster but will def do business. What is her character in the film? The clothing takes away from the role sometimes. I don't know if actresses have much role in Emran Hashmi movies. I think a few do but not always.

Does she have any fav bollywood stars she wants to work with? Like the khans for example.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

Saveri, I did state not state that I disliked Bollywood or that ALL Bollywood films had gratuitous sex scenes. I even stated that not all films are this way. I simply stated that some films do, such as the one being discussed here.

In regards to why Emran Hasmi is popular in Pakistan, it's simple. The same reason he is popular in India. He caters to the lowest common denominator and provides escapist fare to the average, not so attractive guy that “oh look, he is an also average guy but still getting hot girls.” The reason why Humaima probably chose this film and not a higher quality film is equally simple. In Emran Hashmi films, the bar is pretty low and doesn't require much of the female lead, other than serving as eye candy. Frankly, she is not a terribly good actress, so this type of film is the perfect vehicle for her.

Re: Humaima Malick & Emraan Hashmi " Tere Ho Ke Rahenge " Video Song

Sorry i was double quoting you and Ethan. I meant more Ethan since he explicitly said that he disliked it and it was similar to soft porn. But then that means hollywood movies and turkish serials are similar to soft porn also. I know you didn't generalise but i wanted to give you reasons for kiss/items numbers in bollywood movies. I've not heard of gratuitous sex scenes the scale of hollywood yet. Not sure how they compare with Turkish dramas but i think Turkish dramas do have more than Bollywood from what Deeba said.
i agree about the Emran Hshmi movies. I agree actresses don't have much role but im hoping this is different and Humaima gets to show some skills. I'm sure the film will do well and she will get a decent amount. I also thought the reason for some of Emran Hashmi's popularity was because he spoke out about being discriminated in India. You're right though that most of it is because of the roles he plays. I just find it interesting that a kiss scene is worse when it happens in Bollywood compared to Hollywood/Turkish dramas. I wonder if it is because it involves brown people and hits too close to home?

Why fix what isn't broke? And that too way before time. She looks like a deer caught in the headlights at times.
