Re: Hum do humarey do
Yeah perhaps they look fine Hareem, but what's the point? I mean having a 100 kids for what? Spreading deen? YOu really think so?

Re: Hum do humarey do
^ might be who knows Niki didi.
Also, with increase in homosexuality and aborting female fetuses there's one male for 1000 females in India.
you may have the math reversed on this one
and even if you flip the sentence the 1:1000 ratio does not pass the gut check test
Re: Hum do humarey do
Gr8Heera ji, it would be wonderful if they could actually do that... but this gentleman, their father, seems to be only interested in setting a record. You need to work with your kids to help them become something... paida kerna isn't the only achievement. There's great responsibility in being a parent.

you are right I meant to say 1161:1000
ratio of men to women. Still in India women are decreasing because of female infanticide.
Re: Hum do humarey do
Yea I agree with you Nikki. He is doing to set a record per Allah day raha hai tub na. Koi na koi to maqsad ho ga Allah ka jub usko Aulaad day raha hai.
Re: Hum do humarey do
What a waste of 100 lives! He cant even remember the names of his kids! im just thinking about the hundreds of couples who yearn for one child and this guy is just 'trying to set a record'. absoultely disgusting!
Re: Hum do humarey do
I am not all for 'hum do hamaray do', one should have as many as one can reasonably and responsibly take care of.
Now this dude is an extreme, and is crazy and disgusting. Nick is right, its not just about making children, its about being a responsible parent.
Wouldn’t the above apply to any kind of contraception?

Spreading his progeny probably, he's a simple paindoo aadmi so he's not going to understand our logic.
He's not bothering us, he doesn't beg nor he's on benefits, he works for his living so let him live.
Why do we want him to follow our standards and criteria? Just because he's poor?
Re: Hum do humarey do
Agree with Hareem.

No, we are not even trying to reach him. Believe me, nor do we think we can even put some sense in his head. And he really doesn't seem to be "poor" according to standards. We're just discussing here.
As much as we'd like to ignore or deny the fact is that we need to educate our people about quantity in children. Not from the rizq point of view because that comes from Allah, but general health and upbringing. There's a lot that goes on after a child is born. I personally know women, educated families, where 4-5 kids isn't considered a big deal.. whereas in reality, the mother's health is suffering, many women become diabetic or obese, can hardly take care of themselves let alone their children. Why? Having kids is about adding to your happiness, not just being a production machine.

So you're saying women who have two or less children are healthier than those who have more than 2 kids?
Believe me there's too much going on about advertising family planning in Pakistan. You'll see posters and clinics everywhere in towns and in villages even health visitors also offer help regarding family planning to women. Or else we can make laws like China to force the lower class to not to have more than one child.
Re: Hum do humarey do
^ The way things are going in Pakistan, I think that law will have to be put into use. We do have a serious population problem, considering our resources.

Living in countries with high ranking in wasting food, energy and resources it is easy to point fingers at developing countries.

No, I'm not saying that... but there are more chances of a woman who has several kids to be more stressed and more unhealthy. What I'm trying to say is that one must be thoughtful of making the decision to have so many children.

I dont care if he has 10 kids or 100 or 1,000. But he doesnt even know all their names. How much quality time does he spend with each one? It has nothing to do with him following our "standards and criteria" or him being poor. Being poor doesnt mean you are a bad parent. Being rich doesnt mean you are a good parent. But if you dont even know your own child's name.....sad!!

Firstly, I hail from a developing country. Secondly, I am not blaming anyone here. I don't personally waste food nor do I waste resources, p.s I am just one person, and trust me, I eat only what I can handle and never have had to throw away food.
The idea of having a soccer team of kids is just absurd with these problems prevalent in the world. Why bring in 6 kids to a world of misery and a substandard life knowingly and not catering their needs effectively, as compared to 3.
We did a study back in school and we ascertained people in the rural areas of Pakistan have ALOT of kids not because they want to, but because they dont have birth control and when the farmer heads home, he has no means of entertainment.

That guy is a loony bin, enough said.
There was a Saudi guy that had 40 wives (diff stages) and 167 kids.. it was a given he didn't remember all their names but the shocking bit was he was almost going to get married to his own daughter..
