Dear All do you want to see hug scenes in Pakistani dramas. For me i don’t like to see at all. They are spoiling our new generation by showing these kind of scences. Drama can be good with out these kind of scenes. I prefer the girl and boy should stay at a little distance, not come too close. In Pakistan, we are Muslim and we have a culture of Hayaa. What you people think?

Agree. Pakistani dramas should be made so you can sit and watch them comfortably with family. Some india dramas are just a :nono: and not suitable for viewing with family.

a kiss is offensive. skimpy dressing is offensive and awkward. but hugging is very innocent
maybe since i dont watch dramas i dont know how these hugs are carried out but when someone says "hugging" i think of an innocent little hug

some pakistani dramas have really advanced which isnot good...hugging is one thing, surely its not nice seeing it in pak dramas....and it really depends on what characters are involved in it...for example btw mom/son or daughter/dad its ok. but when its btw a girl and a guy (even if they are married) excluding sis/bro relationship, then it feels awkward. pak dramas need to cut down on such things...

i'm finding cheek kissing b/w male n female characters more offensive then hugging. in some scenes hugging is relative so i'm ok with it. but where our actors try to be more like indians i hate it.

There was this drama where Javeriya Abbasi and her ex husband Shamoon I think was his name were getting a bit tooooo close ... and it was a bedroom scene. That was just bang out of order!

yeah I saw the clips of that one and Sanam Baloch and Danish Taimoor are getting way too close IMO. I don't think it is necessary to show the whole "cheeks touching eachothers" because they are supposedly married.

I agree. I don't know why the artist does not say no to the director for that kind of scenes. They should not agree for these things.

^^ I think they want to show themselves as not being "conservative" and "backwards". Plus they justify it by saying that we're just acting and the "character demands it" HA!

This is very bad. This is not conservative or backward, this is our values. No nation compromise on there values, even USA, UK or Israel. So why we are compromising.
Our Actors are representing our Nation. It is our duty to tell them, please do not accept these kind of things. It is our mistake that we are not giving them true message. We should say to our favorite actor/actress, if our of there fans say they will listen.
One more thing is money (may be, not sure). May be they get extra money for these kind of scence.
It is a shamefull thing.
I request to you all, please tell to your favorite actor/actress, not to accept these things and that you don't want to watch it at all. This is our responsibility. We should think over it seriously. Other wise after 10 years we will lose our identity.

Yes, no kissing on the cheek or hugging or any other show of affection should be allowed. Instead we should fill the void with scenes of beheadings and lashings. No woman without burqa should be allowed otherwise we will feel uncomfortable. A better option will be to have men act for women characters while still in the burqa...
