Re: Hubby / Wifey

How about DH, DD for husband and daughter?

Though, DD might mean something else if you think for it in terms of....

Re: Hubby / Wifey

*Jaan *and Janu are pretty okay. :hmmm:

DH, DD ?

Something else DD ?

Hubby / Wifey

My brother-in-law calls my sis begum lol. Seems like an old couple word and they are in early 30s

Re: Hubby / Wifey

old is gold man! old alqaab are the best...they at least mean something! :)

Re: Hubby / Wifey

LOL, I like talking about him using the term Hubby, however he uses, Begum :hehe: never liked it though but cute listening from him

Re: Hubby / Wifey

They’re still better than jaan/janu/jaani. I know of someone who says jaan ji. :frowning: And another who would refer to her husband as “jee” even in his absence. Bet you all are feelin’ a lot better about hubby and wifey now. :hehe:

I use wifey in posts when I’m being cheeky.

Re: Hubby / Wifey

Jaani > Wifey :snooty:

Hubby / Wifey

What about 'babe' ?

Re: Hubby / Wifey

babe >>>>> jani

Re: Hubby / Wifey

Janu > Wifey :snooty:

Re: Hubby / Wifey

Wifey >>>> Hubby :snooty:

Re: Hubby / Wifey

Universal truth…

Re: Hubby / Wifey

so how do you explain the term "jaani dushman’?

Re: Hubby / Wifey

One should not acquire a "jaani dushman". Jaani ki jaan koi aani jaani cheez tau nahee.

Re: Hubby / Wifey

Desi truth actually… Considering average weight of spouses after a few years into marriage.
