Re: Hubby = App
I think it's both respectful and sweet. I also think when a guy calls his wife "aap" that's really nice as well :)

Re: Hubby = App
Okay so now we add more to the mix.
So what if he refuses to call his wife aap and wants to call her tum, while SHE calls him aap?
than what?
Re: Hubby = Aap
So lets say your hubby requests you to call him aap in public, would you? Also, in private he doesn't really care but just in front of people.
And why or why not.
I call him AAP normally, so he never needs to request and sometimes I call him TU, TUJHE.. but its only when both of us are in real good mood.. no "TUM"
..... No logics behind!
Re: Hubby = App
divorce…what else ![]()
I am disppoint gaya..
Re: Hubby = App
I’d rather he treat me well then get caught up on the pronouns he uses to refer to me.
I’m pretty casual with a lot of my guy friends and I call the desi ones “tum”. I once called a potential “tum” accidently and then had to bite my tongue because he was aap-jenaab’ing ![]()
Re: Hubby = App
I'll agree to calling him "aap" outside of the home...but it'll come with snorts and fits of amused laughter. Soon enough he'll revert to "tum."
Re: Hubby = App
I wouldn't ask her to call me "aap" she's free to do as she pleases to. Freewill FTW.
Gai'a to her future miyaan. "App mujhay chaand laa deejeyey"
Miyaan: "Begum, I'm not the application you're looking for"
/Fail
Re: Hubby = App
it’s always been “aap”, though he never asked me to, i don’t think he cares either way…actually, weird thing is that I don’t call him anything....lol! In the 13 years we’ve been married, i have never addressed him directly by his name..it’s either “suniyay…” or “hey…” ![]()
yes, i know, i’m an oddball ![]()
Re: Hubby = App
Yo i would appreicate to be called aap. My ex girlfriend sometimes would say aap but other than that.. tum yeh ho..wo ho..tumhari ghalti hai etc etc.
Re: Hubby = App
D6C- I love that. App bohut badsoorut hain. Did I do that right?
what, I did not know D6C is sending you his pics.
If D6C is indeed badsoorat then you did it right, although its little rude.
Re: Hubby = App
First its "Aap Aap .
then its "Papoo ke Baap"
then its "chal phut, apna rasta naap"
Re: Hubby = App
hayeee not D6C. I was using it on my own hubby ![]()
Re: Hubby = App
I always call my husband aap, because i have been saying him aap all my life (hes my cousin) and secondly because he calls me aap too most of the times (its in their family i guess, they address each other with aap). He wont mind whatever i call him when its just both of us and yes he likes being called with respect infront of others, specially his family. I dont mind this at all and as i always call him aap so its no big deal.
Re: Hubby = App
some ladies don't even call their hubbies by name. like never ever.
LOL
Re: Hubby = App
as long as it isnt ‘aji suntay hain sartaaj’
am quite ok with aap :halo:
Re: Hubby = App
oh dear now we are making a big deal over aap versus tum too? ![]()
Re: Hubby = App
I usually do call him aap at home and in public. Most wives do don't they? I think it shows a bit of respect in your relationship i guess!
Re: Hubby = App
LOL
This one had me in fits! chha gaye ho brother.
Re: Hubby = App
She can call me anything as long as it does not sound fake to me.... whether its 'aap', 'tum', ya 'tu'..
Re: Hubby = App
she can call me anything as long as she calls me.
