^Personally, I thought the "kaam wala's" in the Gulf market, although a limited number, were way better than the ones in Kehkashan. They had some amazing places that did excellent crystal work on outfits!
Kehkashan is just too overrated IMO...
what are the price ranges for such outfits? formals and bridals?
^ they mainly had heavy formals on display with beautiful crystal work on good quality jamavar, as well as other silk fabrics.
Depending on if you were going to supply the fabric yourself or not, they were ranging around the 6 - 10,000 PAK rps marker. I'm sure you could even haggle those prices with them as well, and most had a 3 to 4 week delivery schedule. It all sounds great, but you really need to be on top of them if they are going to supply the fabric and complete the stiching.
I have a pic of an outfit my cousin made for a wedding recently (at kehkashan though)...i'll try and post it tonight if can.
babes i feel gulf say behtar is kehkashan still yes its a pitte hovee place but thsoe ppl are better atleast they did a good offer on teh outfit i made.
teh only few times i have seen what sample they have available and what they show u is zameen aasaman ka farak
waisay im also good at making clothes thinking of doing an exhibition soon and am starting to prepare stuff for it :) have applied for an internship at 2 places lets see what happens
Ladies my advice to ya all, just becoz some one puts up a pic on here, and tell u they have made it. Does not mean to say they made it, its called copy an paste!
and what are these peoples payment methods? Western union no doubt..
Do not buy anything from anyone if they haven't got good reviews from other guppies u knw, or are known. On here I have seen so many multi nicks biggin up their own company. just be careful jo dikta hai woh nahi hai trust me on tht....
i so agree with u colorful eyes but at teh same time u need to back em up call em up and why not ask a friend or relative to check em out if in teh same city so u knwo teh credibility and all. i went through the same time when i was living abroad but gotta trust someone somewhere
