It’s very easy to put blame on someone that because of him/her I did not do things that I was suppose to do. People find a million ways to get away with the responsibilities. But in the court of Allah we all will be answerable for our deeds …no one will be able to lie to Allah or make excuses to Him.
Legitimate or illegitimate either way the responsibility of the child is on the father. I have read it somewhere that such kids even have inheritance rights in Islam. In an way Allah Has not relieved the father from his duties towards the child and therefore he will be questioned .
If the child is really his flesh & blood then he should take the responsibility & be a dad to that kid !
