If he reveals all to the husband, then he should be certain that he can handle the consequences of the fallout and understand what his responsibilities will be. He doesn't get to be a whistleblower and then walk away scot free.
If I was a guy, and this was my situation then I would step up and claim the child and take responsibility for it. Why? Because we either step and clean up the mess we make, or we do nothing and wait for life to step in and do it for us. The latter always tends to be more painful, because inaction will have stripped you of all control.

Why did the woman tell this guy if she didn't want him to participate in anyway? Just to make him feel guilty for the rest of his life? It wasn't like she was raped you know. And she was married. The guy should tell her husband. Really.
exactly this sawal is LAME ,
BUT
If I was a guy I would have asked her for a DNA test first of all just to make sure and then if the reports are +ve I would go to her husband and tell em every thing and ask him to BACK OFF OR DIE

This guy should man up and take responsibility. And that is my opinion. I believe, we are all responsible for our actions in life. Therefore, he should tell her husband. The worst thing anyone can do to is to deceive your spouse that child is not his.

It's very easy to put blame on someone that because of him/her I did not do things that I was suppose to do. People find a million ways to get away with the responsibilities. But in the court of Allah we all will be answerable for our deeds .....no one will be able to lie to Allah or make excuses to Him.
Legitimate or illegitimate either way the responsibility of the child is on the father. I have read it somewhere that such kids even have inheritance rights in Islam. In an way Allah Has not relieved the father from his duties towards the child and therefore he will be questioned .
If the child is really his flesh & blood then he should take the responsibility & be a dad to that kid !

I don't think this guy is avoiding taking responsibiity, it's the naughty woman who had her fun and is asking him to stay away. See the thing is, she has fun, perhaps a one night hormonal fling, gets pregnant, is already in the middle of fertility treatment, she can easily lie to her husband..
