Theres no "how" do you tell them.You just tell them. Its one of those things where you have to tell if you deeply care about the other person.Forget that they might not feel the same way, forget the pride and the what "ifs". If its not meant to be, its not meant to be.But it should be told.

The words "I love you" never cheapen if two people actually care about each other.They can tell each other every moment they are together that they love each other...the meaning deepens, it does not lessen nor does it become cheap.But of course it depends on the individuals and whether they truly care about each other.

even before shadi lets say two ppl r in “love” or whatever, halal toR pe they cant even spend a nice time with each other coz at the back of their minds they’ll know they’re not married yet and that cant really be “love” coz that is still a very restrained relationship

bottomline: i dont believe in the bollywood “love” :smiley:

i only think u can like someone enough to want to marry them, but that is meaningless until and unless u get married to them :slight_smile:

theres nothign cheap about saying “i love u” every other minute :snooty: sometimes there is no other way of expressing how much u love one another… so the words just come out instead. It’s cheap when an aira wagera says it to u without even comprehending the meaning behind it..

hmm and I dont think u always need to “spell it out”. Depends on the individual… sometimes u just know, its an intense feeling. However, its awesome to hear those three words..

i agree, these days the words i love you are just used so randomly with people not really thinking about what it means…you know when someone loves you through their actions, but it is nice to hear it as well…once you’re in the situation u just go with the flow, u’l know when the right time is and what to say, if you prepare or make a plan it usually doesnt work out!

please solve a case here guys;

what should a guy do if he's crazy in love for a long long time, and the girl shows no signs that she knows...and the guy is obviously nervous about blurting it out and worries about rejection or making a mess and so on...and if the guy just acts normal as best as he can and not overly implying with his feelings, does a modern day univ going smart young girl from a semi conservative muslim Pakistani background know whats in the guys mind? or is she playing aloof? or is she waiting for confirmation? or is she avoiding confrontataion as far as could be because shes not interested and is only ok with the existing normal friendship or acquaintanceship...?

and, what does a modern day educated smart young mulsim pakistani semi conservative girl feel about 'love' and falling in love and a guy confessing his emotions to her in the first place? is it all cheap? is it all risky and dangerous? is it all against her values taught by her parents? is it all dangerous as it might be a disgrace fro her parents and family if someone including her parents found out? and, in her twenties how does she view all this? does she want serious commitment accompanying the confession right away? or just confession is ok...?

shed some lights here guys, it could very be useful for mankind, thanks!! we have some very interesting thoughts in the discussion.
