I want to know that how to unlock iPhone?
Because my iPhone is locked and I forgot the security keys for unlock.

if you have backed up your data or if you didn't and don't care for it.

put in Dfu mode and restore it. itunes won't connect to until it's passed thru security code.

Dfu mode
hold power and home for 10 seconds
release the power button but keeping holding the home button for 20 seconds.
connect to itunes and hit the restore button on itunes

Did you know that ATT does not require an unlock code for Samsung phones? You just take out the ATT SIM card and put in the SIM card of whatever other carrier you want. Only if you for some reason want to use a different ATT SIM card, like you want to sell or hand off your ATT Samsung phone to someone who will also be using ATT as their carrier, do you need an unlock code, and ATT has no problem giving you that code....

Of course, you have an iPone, poor thing....:p

But actually, you're not talking about unlocking the phone to use with a different carrier, are you? You just can't remember the password to use the phone, right? Are you sure it is your phone?....

this isnt really true. att will unlock it only after your contract period is up.

and this is true with iphones too.

and at the end of a 2 year contract, iphones retain a lot more resale value than samsung's plastic shell models. :\

No...I got a Samsung phone in Feb, (start of 2 year contract), then I upgraded to Galaxy Note in Sept (re-started a 2 year contract) and asked them for the unlock code so I could give the phone to a friend, who is on Verizon. That is when I learned that no unlock code is necessary for Samsungs, unless the earlier phone is to be used on ATT, with a different phone number. I am not under contract for 2 phones, just the one. Maybe they are cool with it because I continue to be under contract for at least one phone. I don't know.

are you saying you can get an unlocked samsung S3 or note with ATT just by default? :eek: this is not true pal. else we’d see no price delta between what ATT sells and the unlocked samsung phones in the general market.

of course they will unlock your older phone if you get a 2 yr contract renewal. this is not restricted to just samsungs, once again. iphones too. in fact you can just do it online support with old iphones that were on your contracts that were renewed.

Ok, iPone fiance was elligible for an upgrade, but he went and bought an unlocked iPone from Apple directly (his was old and the center button had stopped working and he didn't have time to wait, impatient fellow). I took his upgrade eligibility and got the Note, and gave my other Samsung to a friend. I was only 6 months into my 2 year contract on that one. He has not changed his contract, and I have not changed mine (except for the new start date for the Note's 2 years.)

Like I said, maybe if I wasn't continuing to have a phone with them they might have a conniption fit, but basically, I handed on that previous phone before its 2 year contract was up.

if it was just the keypad security then you can turn off and then turn on the phone! but if its secured as Pin code and startup then I dont know :(

Arrey nahi baba. I bought my S3 in July. Had to call T-Mobile to ask them for an unlock code which they email to u with instructions.

Lol. That's not true at all. Any phone you buy thru carrier. Except iPhone 5 thru Verizon which comes unlocked. Its not true that Samsung come unlocked. They need to be unlocked thru IMEI code. They are not very strict on non-apple phones, but even with iPhones they not that strict like they used to be. I bought an iPhone 5 thru Craigslist it was for AT&T and they unlocked it. You just got to play game with them. Also depends on the agent.

Person with a tablet phone if you prove it that All Samsung AT&T phone come factory unlocked. I'll give you $100 deal?

· If the customer has an **AT&T SIM* in the device, they must use the network lock string (# 7 4 {>>>} 5 6 2 5 * 6 3 8 * [unlock code] #).

OK, just because it feels like I'm giving thieves the key (not you guys, but people out there on the net googling such things), I have changed the numbers, however, the instructions are the same: to use the phone with a non-ATT SIM card, no unlock code is necessary.

um..lol you still need the unlock code, so the phone is locked, right? so what was that about samsung phones from att not being locked? :confused:

and you arent giving anything out to thieves. each phone has its unlock code that is pseudo-randmly generated. all you have posted is the unlock sequence. :\

Aurchaepiyo, Samsungs phones do not come unlocked by default. You can order a factory unlocked phone, but the regular phones we buy from our carriers are unlocked. We then request the carrier to send us unlocking codes and processes.
