How should i install stock rom on a phone with custom rom?

I think that ODIN is a lot easier than anything else. All you have to do is get the files. Put the phone in download mode, open ODIN put the file in PDA un-check the reset checkbox and click start. After the phone reboots you should be good to go. I will do ODIN than to do CWM.

I realize that that is written in English and it is my mother tongue, but I haven’t got a clue whatchu talkin’ 'bout. 
But I don’t need to know! I’ll just stand pat with my new ICS and not mess with my phone’s operating system for a while…

ODIN is my friend. i like her very much when i install too much rom or add what i shouldn't have she helps me out. she helps me in restoring my S3. she isn't very hard to deal with. you tell her this is the file i want in my s3 with one click she does. very nice of her

What's your phone model? I'm guessing Samsung Note (not 2).
-What ROM do you currently have on your phone?
-You have to find the right ROM for your particular phone. Then depending on what format its in you'd need the proper format.
--If its in an md5 or tar format you use Odin
--If its in a zip format you can flash it using a custom recovery. e.g. ClockWorkMod (CWM) or TWRP
Ofcourse, like anything take my directions with a grain of salt as well. I mean you may need to adjust these depending on my other questions that I asked.

I have ICS stock rom on my phone.
I want to install custom rom but before that I want to know sure procedure for re installing stock rom!
Custom rom is in zip format which I have to install using CWM.

So I’m guessing you already have CWM installed. You can make a a nandroid backup using CWM, which is an image of the phone in time. You can always revert back to that using CWM.
Odin is a flashing utility for Samsung phones. I found a page with direction on how to root that phone and flash the phone with boot.img. They also have links to the flashing utility as well. Here it is:

Have you ever done this before? Do you have any brothers, cousins, husbands/boyfriends that know what all this is? I’ve been stuck with dead phones which I had to spend sleep nights over, and bring them back to life.
