if she is having issues she needs to see specialists
if there are complications or if that can not work then justtell her to adopt
I still dont understand why adopting from within the family is acceptable, or adopting from edhi but keping it a secret is palatable, but adopting some lil child who can fill a gap in your life and who can benefit from the love and attention u can provide to him/her, is not acceptable in our culture.
Although, if she is overseas and needs to go through a homestudy, she may need to be a little more stable before they would let her adopt.
Not at the expense of alienating siblings/cousins or confusing the hell out of the kid. yeah you are our kid but err here are your 'real' parents.
Sorry, i dont buy it, its cultural issues and lack of confidence, and concerns about what ppl will say about the kid or treat it as if there are no blood ties, would the kid be a second class family citizen.
Yet again i refer to the fact that majority of edhi adoptions are of new borns and not toddlers, since it is easy for ppl to pass on a new born as their 'own' and thus not deal with the adoption backlash for themselves or for the kid. that has nothing to do with adoption
i know some couples who have had babies after 10 years of trying....so maybe Lubna should try for a few years longer. otherwise she can adopt a child from adoption centre.
Rabia did not give up her son and her husband took care of his sister Lubna. Now Lubna won't talk or look at her brother or his family.
she won't adopt outside the family.
^ summary is that Lubna is a jackass of the highest degree.
I mean she will not talk to her brother because he did not give in to her demands that he give her HIS baby? what an idiot
For someone as immature and selfish like that maybe even adopting someone from an adoption center is not the way to go, why put some innocent kid in that situation and have someone with obvious issues raise the kid.
the lady has my sympathies but not support, she needs to sort herself out, maybe see a shrink and then figure out what she wants to do.
