In my first thread I mentioned that my hubby had invited a women to live with us, who stayed for almost 3 months. (his friends sis..she is from pak )
So she left after about 3 months and so did my MIL and everything was fine but…NOW SHE IS BACK!!
And I hate hate hate it! And my husband doesn’t care how uncomfortable I am in this situation. He is soooo nice to her.(he is never that nice to me)
She uses everything: Food, soap, shampoo,my laptop for about 8-9 hours a day, invited her friend over at 9pm etc.
I am not a mean person and I cant ask her to leave. And as my hubby is being sooo nice to her I would play the role of the “witch” if I would say something, and I don’t want that.
Please I needs some tips on how to get rid of her discreetly
Re: how to get rid of an unwanted house guest.. :s
Tell your hubby it's YOUR house. A guest is a guest for a week, maybe two after that they're a burden. If she wants to stay longer, she needs to start carrying her weight. Simple.

why is she back? where is from is she visiting AGAIN or is she planning on moving here, has she said anything about when she is leaving? ask her for rent?
Re: how to get rid of an unwanted house guest.. :s
She is here on a 1 year student visa and I dont know her. The only thing I know is that her brother is my hubby's friend. When she first came she told us that she will be staying for 2 days .
But whenever she just slightly mentioned, that she is looking for a place, my hubby would say something like: jab hum ha to aap kahin nahin jaee gee...aap jahin rahe abhi..ya aap naraaz ha..main nahin jaane doon ga..bla bla bla
Every time he did I wanted to shoot him. And even my parents told him that they dont think she should stay here that long.

Lol... talk to your husband and if he doesn't listen then i think you should go away for a few days and when your at home avoid cooking for him so he gets the hint
drop him hints through your actions so he realises and talk to him when your with him alone, btw what's a MIL? And remember actions speak louder than words (it may take longer for him to react though)
Re: how to get rid of an unwanted house guest.. :s
You need to put your foot down and show him you mean business. If I was in your position, I would leave and refuse to return until she has left. Obviously your husband is not listening, and therfore you need to show him with actions.

Invite your "mates brother" around who also happens to be a student, who has Nooooo wheeeerrrre else toooo live and see how he likes it. Outrageous if you ask me. I'd never let my guy let someone stay at our place as a long term guest because he's a mate or a mates sister. Sex doesnt matter of the guest, it's just selfish to not consider your feelings/treat her better.

What you do is find her a room and then when ur hubbys sittin down and she's also there just openly say it... tell her that she is more than welcome to spend her day and eat at yours but she can sleep there as its better for both of us.. once she moves to her room or place then she will eventually stop coming to yours on regular basis

lol…MIL=Mother in law
This is so frustrating I was just beginning to feel at home in my OWN home again. I did forgive him everything, even the fact that his mother and he treated me like crap in these 2 months…and now this.

Ahahaha good point but i dont think that's something she would want to do.. she wants to play politically and to me it looks like that she is a v sensible obedient wife

I actually asked him how HE would feel if I did something like that..and he didn't even bother to answer.
Re: how to get rid of an unwanted house guest.. :s
@Gujjar999 I'm damn obedient dude, but there are lines that we should respect as spouses. I ask my husband before I go out, not because I have to, but cos I want to. If he ever told me "no" I wouldnt go. Doesnt mean I'm gonna stand by and be sidelined by a socially unaware houseguest. My cousin came to Pak and lived with me and my guy and inlaws whilst I was there. She used to sleep our bed, with me and my guy used one of the guest rooms. She left after 3 days cos she felt bad me and him were sleeping apart. THAT'S how you act. You dont go imposing yourself into other peoples lives. I want to smack that girl haha. I'm all riled up.
But yeah, being more sensible now, you're right, playing this politically is the right way... I guess if it was me and I was in that position, I probably wouldnt smack the girl. I probably would smack him though, and then he'd smack me back and I'd leave him and... yeah I'll stop with the hypotheticals.
