When I need to buy a new car , I go to the car dealership the sales person will come running to me and
ask " How may I help you."
I say “Sure I wish to buy half a dozen of this one.” Pointing to a particular car in the show room.
This get their attention and they will provide you the best possible service and the price.
( I am noting lying about half a dozen part. Pay attention to what I say. I wish it means I wish , but I cannot afford to , so it is not a lie, is it ?)
In a furniture store I will say : " I wish to buy three or four bed room sets , a couple of nice dinning sets , few sofa sets etc. "
Again this gets their full attention and they will provide you the best service.
Anybody wants to share similar strategies for these or other kind of situations , like for example at the government offices how do you get their attention and get the things done fast and easy.
See you are again not thinking out of the box (OOTB).
Why you have to take the blame you can always get out of it so delicately.
For example let me buy one for now and see how it works out he/she will still be happy.

Again your thinking is very myopic. There is a difference between the kind of customer service you provide and the one a Salesperson provides at a car or furniture dealership.
I am also in CS for a long time now so I know what you are talking about.
There is a huge difference between post sales and pre-sales CS.
