I agree with you Mezghan. There are definitely girls out there, from all backgrounds, who are not into dating for marriage. Also, you can't decide from the first date whether marriage will happen. Maybe things don't pan out or the person isn't appropriate. Maybe I misinterpreted the OP but I felt a distinction was being made between girls worthy of dating vs marriage material girls. I think even if the intention is not there to marry for whatever reason there should not be any differentiation in how a girl is treated. **Also, i don't understand terminology like "smack piece." Surely if the girl is "smack piece" and hence treated as less the guy must also be a "smack piece." **I disagree with double standards which judge a female's behaviour as harsher than a guy doing the same. There is no justification anywhere for such a difference.
There might not be a justification for such a difference. But you bet there's an explanation.

I think people are being a little disingenuous on this thread by telling the OP "oh, it will be hard to find a Pakistani girlfriend because Pakistani girls are all interested in marriage rather than dating." That's rather presumptuous and a bit inaccurate.
Not every girl is sitting at home planning her wedding since age seven and yes, there are girls who want to date "just for fun." I went to uni with some, actually a few. While they were not shouting it from the rooftops that were dating someone, they did date and not always with the end goal of marriage. Also, from what I gather, the OP didn't say he had no intention of marrying his Pakistani girlfriend ever. He said he didn't want to get married right now, which is quite normal. Other than in the arranged setting, who begins planning marriage after the first date?

I think a lot of people must have blinkers on.. There are plenty of Pakistani girls in their teens (especially) and early twenties who are seeing someone and not necessarily thinking about marriage.. Yes, it may not be right or Islamic but it's definitely happening.. You only need to go into schools and colleges to see it..
I know I didn't personally even think about marriage till my mid-twenties.. It didn't interest me in the slightest and to be honest if a guy had suggested it in my teens I probably would have run a mile..

Are you serious? British accents are awesome. The next best thing after sliced bread. England bhi tumhara intezaar nahi kar raha. It's getting harder for migration there as well.
