First of all, I’m sorry to hear that your family had to suffer such a loss - I hope God grants your family peace and forbearance for what they’ve endured.
I don’t take offence at what you’ve said - there’s nothing harsh about your comments - it’s your perspective based on your experiences. I will concede that my opinions are based on my ideals and that I’ve been fortunate enough that my life was untouched by acts of violence. It’s possible that my opinion would change if I went through what you did. That being said I pray that God never subjects me to a time when those ideals are tested.
