It is an Islamic concept indeed. If you commit murder you are put to death. That is part of Islamic jurisprudence.

I’m not opposed to capital punishment. But, I do not agree with with certain methods of capital punishment.

CM, I meant an eye for an eye is as in the killer(s) die the same way they killed the victim? I thought that was Islamic, I may be wrong though!

When you read in the news how certain killers tortured their victims before killing them - wouldn’t an eye for eye necessitate torturing the killer in the same way in order to render “justice” according to your logic? That idea of justice is what I disagree with.
