Hi, guys is there any software or anything like that which helps me to translate my Urdu novel into English. i’ve been writing a novel, and bc of my vast, deep and good urdu i decided to write it in urdu first, now its getting on my head, u know double hard work, i’ve been looking on the internet but couldn’t find any software.

yea i've also considered dat, but they r working on per day charges, at least the site i visited it showed dat they works on per day charges. so dats gonna cost me alot.

yea freelancers are also charging too much but its possible dat i went to the wrong side. do u have any idea how much any freelancer gonna charge 60 pages of urdu? after converted into english its going to be almost 150 pages of English. i've estimated dat

Why don’t you translate it yourself? I found your English reasonably good 
PS: have you talked to the publisher for novel’s rights as you seem to publish on commercial basis?

yes i’ve already talked to the agent and he found out my synopsis very interesting and gave me 3 months to complete it. and dats the problem i dont have much time, i’ll have to complete it in urdu, den i dont think there will be any time left for me to translate it. thanks for ur interest. i really appreciate

If you publish in Urdu the income can pay for the translation and then you do a translation later in time? Otherwise, there may be deals that you make with the translators - offer them 5% of your income ... or something like that, so it becomes an investment for them. But they will only agree if they think your original story is good enough.

Hire somebody to translate for you. Do not depend on internet software. They cannot do justice to the translation of your novel like a human with a good command over English lang can. Gook luck on your endeavors.

BTW whats the topic of your novel? Is it about an issue which is of interest to international readers? See Umera Ahmed is a good writer, but her topics are normally not much relevant for international audience.
