I have been observing the GUPSHUP boards for a while now, and have only recently started posting.
One thing I have noticed is tht some people here are really quick to jump down each others throats if someone has a unique perspective on things and they form judgments and attack the poster. Is this necessary? I mean we dont even know each other. Is that why people behave rudely online? Just because you personally dont know the person on the other end.
Shouldn’t we be more tolerant and accepting of our fellow countrymen and women? Its okay to have different opinions, no one should be attacked or ridiculed or accused just because they voice these opinions.
I personally like it when someone has a fresh or unique take on things.
I can see where online 'manners' would have a bad effect on a discussion.
But I also think it takes all kinds of opinions to make the world go 'round. If we all thought he same way...well...it would get kinda boring around here.
So, you might not agree with me...and I might not agree with you...but together we make the world just a little more interesting.
I thought we were here to share our opinions and participate in discussions. Now I found out that we are supposed to hold hands and sing Kum ba yah instead. Yuck, I don't want to hold sweaty hands.
People come online and take part on social networks BECAUSE for very reason i.e they can misbehave easily ....can bursts out their frustration which they normally cant in real life... leave the online universe alone .... !
Besides, I like to annoy people. Being nice doesn't get you anywhere.
LOL, I want to follow your tracks just to be happy being nice is really not getting me anywhere , people are trying to walk all over me.
So give me some tips and tricks about how to be annoying , nasty and outright disgusting. :D
This happened to me alot in the beginning alot. Then later, I just chose to skip threads which have the same old, over worked and retarded line that boils down to the fact that desi men are jerks. By filtering such crappy threads (each one can decide what kinda threads they wanna read) a lot of animosity can be avoided.
