Only people who are psychopaths are emotionless.

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

that's why i have used the word "less sensitive" and not insensitive...

i know its important to be sensitive to certain things in life, but in all petty things, its hurtful..

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

not possible.......

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a “who cares” attitude?

oh is there a way for it? i highly doubt it :frowning: but if you find out let me know too :chai:.

honestly, some people r just born with it and it has its advantages and disadvantages. we just have to try and keep the balance! it is real tough though. zaamana buhat khrab hai sigh.

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a “who cares” attitude?

do u think more sensitivity is closely related to being less confident? may be working on one’s confidence can make them less sensitive emotionally..does that make sense?

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

well i dnt see the connection between the two! give me an example?

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

for example, people who are more sensitive emotionally are also very sensitive to their criticism...It can easily upset them..so if one is more confident (or less sensitive),criticism might not affect them..??!!

so i think both are inter connected at times...

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

soon as you write "only serious ones" in front of suggestions, you ruin any fun we might be able to have

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

become an assassin

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a “who cares” attitude?

ok i c the connection now! ur rite, in such a scenerio yah working on the confidence level would help. however, i dnt think most of the times its about the other person making u insecure :nono: its just that some people r more sensitive towards insensitivity like bad manners, bad behavior, etc etc.

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

i like u more now

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

When you have to live with seemingly endless pain, and/or a world of apathy around you then you begin to have a "Who cares" attitude.

Often if you have had to come through hard times without support you dont care about supporting others... it becomes a dog eat dog scenario.

However this does not make it right... yes you can almost program humans like robots to ignore many things... its the mind over matter scenario that we all hear about. Also sometimes the endless cycle of pain and loss makes us care less about others becuase you cannot afford to care... your allready too deep into things to care... like the little birdie story.

Almost constant exposure makes you feel less aware of things as well. You become used to not caring...

faris, dont be so jaded

Re: how to become less sensitive and have a "who cares" attitude?

Not neccasarily,
Many assasins actually have a heart and care more about not only thier victims but many other worldly matters. Not all Assasins see the world through tunnel vision where they kill for the over-riding importance of furthering thier own mission... whatever that may be.
