Re: How to be closer to Allah?

Peace Zareenkhan,

Allah SWT said in Surah Al Baqarah verses 152: **“So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.”

**Moreover Allah SWT Said in Surah Al Imran verses 31: "Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” and

In Surah An Nisa verses 80: “He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah ; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian.”

In my view to achieve that level, we must obey what Allah SWT ordered us to do and follow the right path (the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ) that Allah SWT clearly mentioned in the book Holy Qur’an. Follow of Sunnah means to live life like our Prophet Muhammad lived by the order of Allah SWT. This is how I believe we can achieve the highest level of faith. In Book ‘Knowledge’ of Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 71:**"Narrated Muawiya: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah’s teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah’s order (Day of Judgment) is established.”

**Remembrance of Allah SWT in every moment is essential as narrated in the Book ‘ONENESS, UNIQUENESS OF ALLAH (TAWHEED)’ of Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 502 **"Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah says: ‘I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.’ "

**May Allah SWT guide us and enable us to achieve that level of faith. Ameen.

Thanks. :k:
