Exactly like US is fighting “war on terrorism” for “peace and harmony”.
That’s what they try to pretend to the people of the world and to the international media.
They try to come across as the most peace-seeking nation on earth. They’re extremely diplomatic. It’s their national trait. They stab in the back but they’re always all smiles from the face.
Specifically, spewing and spreading hate and untrue versions of incidents from the history against Pakistanis in the international media and amongst world-wide figures of authority is the national duty of every indian abroad. Apart from that, the indian financed news and other TV channels have been successfully fulfilling this very national duty for the past many years now.
The following para of the article speaks nothing as compared to the damage that has been done by RAW to Kashmir, Sindh province of Pakistan and Balochistan. Exposing that could result in declaring india to be a terrorist state of the region by the UN and RAW as a region’s terrorist agency.

R.A.W. is also being blamed for confusing the ground situation is Kashmir so as to keep the world’s attention away from the gross human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir. Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency (I.S.I.), being almost 20 years older than R.A.W. and having acquired a much higher standard of efficiency in its functioning, has become the prime target of R.A.W.'s designs. The I.S.I. is considered to be a stumbling block in R.A.W.'s operations and has been made a target of massive misinformation and propaganda campaigns. The tirade against I.S.I. continues unabated. The idea is to keep I.S.I. on the defensive by alleging that it has had a hand in supporting the Kashmiri mujahideen and the Sikhs in Punjab. R.A.W.'s fixation on I.S.I. has taken the shape of I.S.I.-phobia, as in India everyone traces the origin of all happenings and shortcomings to the I.S.I. Whenever and wherever there is a kidnapping, a bank robbery, a financial scandal, a bomb blast, or what have you, the I.S.I. is deemed to have had a hand in it."

As I read through the analysis in the cited Isha Khan piece, quite frankly it was amusing. There are so many contradictions that all I could conclude was that he/she wanted to write a high sounding 'deep analysis' but due to lack of subject matter and intellectual honesty, ended up simply coying phrases from a variety of think-tank pieces on various unrelated subjects.
For example, the author's proof for RAW causing the attempted coup in Maldives is the speed with which 1600 Indian troops arrived there (to put down the coup)!!! No consideration given to the fact that Maldives is just a few hours away and moving 1600 troops is nothing to the million plus Indian military.And the best part this: even though two of the individuals arrested were part of previous coup attempts, that fact is simply dismissed as curious coincidence!
Here is another gem: somehow it is a huge finding for the author that RAW is used as a messenger/contact between LTTE and Indian government! Thsi was during the period when India was actively openly providing peace keeping forces in Sri Lanka by request and agreement of both the Sri Lankan govt and the LTTE. No word from the author about how else these things can be coordinated.
I can go on but don't want to waste too much time on this garbage

I will just give you one more name to google = Zainal Abedin. Isha Khan and Zainal simply quote each other as proof for whatever they come up with against India. To the point that many people think the two may be the same person.
Here is another gem to mull over when : Zainal Abedin was awarded the great LISA prize. Except LISA is run by none other than ***Brigadier Usman Khalid (retd ISI)*

Not really; All it is is a little bit of objectivity, slightly long term memory and a decent googlability. Come on, you knew that!
The article gives outdated and incomplete information. It however does mention that RAW has been successful in acting 'unobtrusively'.
For example, this piece says nothing about Indian (intelligence) activities in post-9/11 Afghanistan. Until some time ago -I don't know if things have changed now-, Indians had more consulates in Afghanistan than in any other country around the world. And then many of these consulates have been specifically set up close to Pak/Afghan border. I can understand the Indian desire to promote trade with Afghanistan and the countries which are accessible to India only through Afghanistan and Pakistan. But this Indian presence must not be used to promote Indian hegemony in this region. Otherwise, it makes India a spoiler in any war against extremism. Ironically, any attack on these Indian bases is thought to have been emanated from Pakistan.
This is not helpful. This is not helpful for Afghanistan; this is not helpful for Pakistan. Just think about Indian reaction if Pakistan started setting up offices along Indian/Bangladesh border, close to Indian territory which has been going through a lot of turmoil recently. This is going to raise more than just eye brows in Delhi.

India actively helped Northern Alliance and maintain very close and warm contacts with it's leaders. :)
