almost in -ve my day was.
tomorrow better be productive
Super lazy day for me today. All I’ve managed to do is wrap some presents.. rest of the day has been spent on the sofa in a blanket planning my next holiday
I am envious, I had big aspirations and looking outside at the snowstorm makes me wanna crawl back in but thats not an option. Had to wake Mrs up to help out.
Haha me two, family pitched in so cleared the really big drive way then one car got stuck, had to shovel the rental property also now to work -15 so not so bad
It has been the craziest winter the temperatures swung from plus 14 to neg 40 with windchill. Not a lot of snow for this year our cross country ski group had a hard time with ice and no snow.
It can be downright dangerous, I was driving back my sons car from the shop and it broke down on the highway, I had forgotten my cell at work and no one would stop to help and I thought I am gunna die. Charged cell phones, blankest candle etc are a must. People used to be helpful but not the case anymore.
In the past few days the productivity has been thru the roof, I felt overwhelmed for a bit but my technique of positive self-talk worked for me, we were able to rent out the rental home, pick up my child’s friend from the airport. The biggest accomplishment was to do a successful lunch for the team after they met at our house with the nutritionist who guided them on what to eat during their 3 week Florida camp. The coach was waging full on war against sugar and junk food. Zak the coach had trained national teams in Europe and told us that European athletes dont consume any processed sugar.
My wife was super mad at me for inviting them for lunch and asked me to not let anyone know that I cooked and told the ladies she was up all night cooking..lol
