Re: How Pakistan can help Lebanese suffering and any future suffering in the region.
I agree with DaBest but for you mercenary2k, if Israel and America wants to solve this problem their way, they need to put international scrutiny on Hezbollah that will ensure their disarmament, with this escalation they will not succeed. Remember Hezbollah are no foreign militia that will just pack up and leave, they are Lebanese people who will fight and die for their country. Thus, a victory in Lebanon for Israel is impossible, only thing they can do is nuke them.
If you have an International pressure on Hezbollah to disarm, they will and in the end, they will be a social service in the south. In addition, you need the government in North to pay attention to the needs of Lebanese in South and look after them; this will ensure a balance or power in the region. This camping that you applaud so much will not rather will change the course of Middle East, which is Hezbollah not destroyed and comes out even more stronger and takes over the country.
Re: How Pakistan can help Lebanese suffering and any future suffering in the region.
That long? Why that long? By than Iran may have advanced into nuclear power a lot more than what she is now. Isn’t now a good time to strike? Oh well maybe your too busy in Iraq and Lebanon.
Come back in 2009 when you are ready to strike and we will talk.
Re: How Pakistan can help Lebanese suffering and any future suffering in the region.
Ok for the sake of discussion I believe you. In any case Iran will move a step forward to advance their nuclear program. So whats stoping you not to strike now but wait till 2009. I wonder if you will be alive by 2009?
Re: How Pakistan can help Lebanese suffering and any future suffering in the region.
...... Lebanese who have seen conflicts first hand are far away from giving up.
........ If Israel digs deep, they will dig deeper…....
Lebanese were lucky (in a weird way) that they got their areas back the last time.
If Israel ends up creating a buffer zone this time around, it will hold on to it for a while.
Then the Arab Lackeys will moan and groan that Israel should go back to 2006 borders. Just like they are moaning and groaning that Israel should go back to 1967 borders.
