ok wait, i went back and read it all. i think you’re brave for doing what you did!
i always knew i was going to have an epi. i didn’t have anything to prove to anyone by having a natural birth, or to myself, for that matter. and some women i know feel like giving birth the natural way is the only way blah blah blah. i had a 9.5 lb’er mA and he got stuck. there was no way i was going to push him out and risk a third degree tear and the OB in charge didn’t want me going that route either so C it was. everyone was just surprised they had me wait 15 hours in labor before doing it since i’d had an ultrasound a week before giving birth and he was mA already well over 8 lbs then. next time, its straight for the C if i the ultrasound comes up the same way.
