I follow fashion only when it is within the religious limits...for example I never wore above the ankle capris or the super short and tight, figure hugging kmeezein, but now I am closely following and enjoying every bit of the current fashion of long flowy, flared kameezein with trousers :D
not really ..however, i love long kameez fashion! :(
i dont think i follow trend tht much!!
I wear hijab and try to cover my myself properly, like make sure i have full sleeves and nothing is too fitted!
even if i wear skinny jeans, my top is until my kness ... and during summer i wear long skirts! cuz its sucha hassle to find something in light colors and thn long enough!! so skirts are pretty good :)
or If my hijab is plain and very simple, then i try to wear a broche or a bracelet to give a more girly look!
i try to keep things minimal and add color with accessories.
I think you can look chic and stylish, within your religion boundries! :)
and NIKSIK , you are very much right! how you dress and carry yourself does affect our imaan.
and as for representing, not quite sure If I really properly do it! though, I try my best to dress modest!

I don't wear hijab. I don't wear sleeveless, but my arms are not always covered in their entirety. I like my shirts and pants to fit me in a flattering way without being tight. I prefer my jeans a bit looser. Same way with my shalwar kameezes...I like them sort of loose but to still have some shape/flow to it...if that makes sense. I have worn capris that are just a tad above my ankles...cuz I like to show off my anklets and summer sandals. I'm not really sure.....I haven't read in detail what the religious rulings for dress are. For some....everything from head to toe..including your hands should be covered......for others not so much. Like today....I saw one of the teachers who usually wears a very loose curtain like full-length abaya and hijab every day....wear one that was slightly shorter and showed about an inch above her ankles.....it wasn't extreme......but for some even that may not be acceptable. Overall, as an individual, I think I dress modestly. As far as iman...yes clothes have their place...but I don't think it's the only thing that determines your level of iman. You could be covered from head to toe...and your iman could be lacking in the more bigger ways....such as in your interactions with others, etc.
I don't think that I'm "obsessed" with fashion. I don't feel like I need to have every single item that is considered to be the "latest trend" especially if I don't think it would suit me or if I feel it's immodest. I'd rather buy pieces that are classic, don't go out of style, that flatter me, and that I feel physically and mentally comfortable wearing them.
pretty much never gone beyond the boundaries so i feel comfortable what we r u know opt for as from religious perspective too so loving these long shirts and froks trends at the moment hope to follow or experiment wihtin that , absolutely love bags and shoes i loveeeeeeeeeee makeup as i have just learned to do it professionally , not a big fan of accessories but ve eyes for good pieces . http://shazfashionandbeautylifestyle.blogspot.com/
Very fashion obsessed, always been thanks to my mom. I like to look very stylish, almost to the point where my husband has to put the stop to my insanity, like sitting inside my closet with jewelry, shoes piled up on the floor for a matching session but having said that there is no way I will ever be caught in a Herve lever dress either
for me its a no brainer..religion first. however u can be stylish and fashion forward and still respect your religion and be modest. Ive noticed that a lot of the trends these days are catering to the Muslim women - in terms of longer hemlines, loose flowly clothing, scarves, wide pants etc.
i like to follow the latest trends, but i do so in a way that is applicable to me.
hahahah pinkd out i some time do that whole thing of matching trust me its really relaxing for me , like u ve everything on show with mathcing things before eid or any event i do that theres a point used to be when my mom used to literally threat that everythign to bin then i used to put them back .!!!!!!
