I don't wear a headscarf, but i always dress modestly and within religious boudaries.

Do you think how you dress represents your religion? Or do you think your choices in dressing up doesn't really affect the "iman" inside you.
Please discuss freely...without using **** words...but freely yes.
I am obsessed with fashion but would not wear anything that goes against religion, wont wear anything revealing; NOOO WAY!! I have some middle eastern friends, I get really inspired seeing them being stylist & trendy in hijab MA.

I follow fashion as long as it is within limits. I don't wear leggings/jeggings, lace tops, shoulder tops or sleeveless and capris...

Few years ago, I was all about wearing whatever I felt like wearing which was not acceptable in Islam. Looking back, I'm ashamed of not caring about my clothes (no, I didn't walk out in a bikini) but just generally speaking. Overtime, things have changed for me and I put religion first so I cover now and to be really really honest I find it really hard to look stylish and still dress modest.
I know people can do it, I know countless Hijabi's/abaya/nikabi's who look so good, while still being dressed so modest. It's just not in me, maybe because I am used just buying anything I found cute, so my clothes isn't exactly throwing out skirts and dresses all the time. I think to dress modest, you have to purchase modest clothing.
I'm working on it!
