how much...

does it matter if the wife looks elder than her hubby??? does this thing effects their relationship ? if yes, how??

Re: how much...

Maybe, when the waiter asks:

"And what drink for your son, Ma'am?" And when husband smiles!...

....Both lose the tip!

It makes husband happy, he always feels young no matter how old the couple get.

Re: how much...

^^ and how does it effects their relationship??

Re: how much...

Dont ask me I aint no Einstein.

ouch.. hahahah

Re: how much...

As long as it doesnt look too much, I guess its okay. The girl should be ready and able to maintain herself very well though because women tend to age faster then men. If these things dont bother her self-esteem or self-image...then go for the guy.

Re: how much...

well, the wife can have low self-esteem because of it..and that can lead to other misunderstandings. i personally wouldn't marry someone who looks younger than me, i just wouldn't find him attractive.

Re: how much...

i dont think that it could be effected on the relationship.

:hehe::hehe::hehe:…i also agree you

Re: how much...

i think it effects the couple in the form of a big budget on makeup products

Re: how much...

^ lol

I don't think it would effect their relationship as such (obviously dependent on how much the inidividuals care about how they look like to others)...but could cause potential embarassment in the situation diwana has posted!

I guess it goes back to the personality/ looks discussion!

one friend of me got married last year, his wife is a bit elder than he and they are doing fine, they love each other and MA they live very hapily
so i think if there is love everything will be fine, no matter if the wife looks elder or hubby looks elder
there just have to be love and understanding

Re: how much...

Means she is a go-getter. Good job, cougar. ;)

She doesn't need to worry about impotence too soon.

IF the hubby is affected by it, then yes it can affect the relationship. If he is bothered by his wife's looks........doesn't find her attractive.......is having a hard time overlooking his wife's physical appearance and concentrating on other more positive qualities.............and becomes self-conscious when other people make tactless remarks about his wife.....................THEN, YES, THE MARRIAGE WILL BE AFFECTED.

Some people have always looked older than their age because of their body structure and facial features. If the wife has appeared "older" from the time he first met her................then he should have turned down the rishta if it's an issue for him.

Now.........after marriage........sometimes stress............having kids.........can make one look less fresh, less youthful, more haggard and weary looking, more out of shape. In that case, she can try exercising, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, using appropriate facial products. Even the way that you dress can either age you or make you appear younger. Certain haircuts/makeup colors and techniques/clothing cuts and colors can take years off your face. Even something as whitening your teeth can make one appear younger.

But, whether the issue will become a problem for the marriage will depend upon the spouse's attitude. C'mon you know that.
