So… suppose you apply for child adoption, they come visit you.
After carefully reviewing and interviewing you they say NO, you are not allowed to take
care of a child.
My question is if there assessment is true, then should they not send you to nas-bandi(child-stopage) operation??
Like you can’t take care of some one elses’ kid. why you still have right to have your own children??
Is that mean your children(may be in future) are less human then the ones you wanted to adopt ?

no matter what people say, no matter how much one love adopted kid, that bitty difference b/w adopted kid and own kid always remains and that can prove to be critical in upbringing.
Make no mistake, I have nothing but respect for the parents who adapt kids and give their life and love to raise and make them successful citizen.

ahh one of life's many unfair things...why do you need a license to drive a car but not to have children? Why can some get pregnant by sharing hte same bar of soap while others have to undergo years of treatments.

Because when you choose to have your own kids, no one can stop you from physically having a child. Furthermore, if you're so hell bent on having them then you better take care of them too.
But when it comes down to a child being given to you...then people DO have a choice to let it happen or not.

I cannot be the judge of that but I am not sure if its true. We know at least one person on Gupshup who has a kid of own and an adopted. that person is a better person to shed a light on this.
