Way to go paklady! Another thing that I've found really works is cutting carbs especially rice and white bread (brown bread is an okay substitute).
My measurements are about the same as you. How about we team up and motivate each other? My goal is to lose 40-50 pounds over the next 3 months.

after eid I will start walk again.and btw my waist ( smallest area of tummy) also went down to one inch i.e. 34 to 33
Yes I am trying to reduce carbs but cutting them is not possible from me. :-(
I will love to know about your daily eating and exercise routine. :)
Thanksss!!! Yes. However, for the last two weeks, my weight has been stuck on 145. It had initially dropped to 142lbs but then the last week of ramadan, I started eating ALOT due to dawaats, staying up, Eid, wedding, etc.
I plan on starting my workout again soon too. My goal for new years is to become 125 lbs.
mashAllah, people are starting to notice now and it feels great. However, I feel like I am not as motivated anymore. I went over my calorie limits every single day the last week.
My daily routine has been kinda screwed up because of Ramadan but here is how I usually do it.
First, I drink a LOT of water and try to eat more veggies and fruits (your skin will thank you for this!). As far as eating goes, my only problem is my sweet tooth. Darn thing won't let me get thin.
Before Ramadan, I started a new exercise routine where I would do high intensity cardio in short spurts. I went to the gym 3-4 times/week but I want to up this to 5-6 times per week. One thing I struggled with was getting enough sleep. I find if you dont sleep enough, your weight loss kinda plateaus. You also want to keep changing what you do. I used to do the elliptical for an hour 7 times a week, but I stopped losing weight after doing it for only a couple of months. Variety is pretty key. Walking is fine for maintaining a higher metabolism, but I would recommend pairing it with something a little tougher if you want quicker results. Hope that helps. Let me know what your ploan going forward will be :)

Haha tell me about it! Eid is so bad for my self control. All those desserts and the lovely food everyone makes!
And 23 pounds really is great! My goal is about 130lbs or a size 4-6 (Canadian) by Nov, but I have a long ways to go before I get there. Keep strong and good luck!
How tall are you, mizsani? My height is 5' 5.5" (I make the extra half inch count because I have a tall family and my fiance is over 6ftl :p )
I'm kinda scared to take my measurements after Ramadan, but will do that and hopefully we can discuss our goals and make each other stick to the plan :) How about it?

I am 5'4. Even now, I haven't gone back to my routine yet. I have just been laying on the couch and eating 3 heavy meals a day :(
Alright gals. Here are my measurements. I'm pretty psyched because turns out I managed to not put on a ton of weight over Ramadan! :D
Weight: 160.2 lbs (72.8 kg)
Measurements: 36 28.5 39
I'm not really sure if I measured my waist in the right spot. 28.5 is the smallest part of my waist but it expands to 33 at my bellybutton. I'm pretty pear shaped :(
Let the motivational commentary begin!
Shall we check in with weights and measurements once a week? We can also share any tips and tricks we come across here.
I'll start: drink lots of water before your meal. That way you'll feel fuller much quicker :)
So apparently you can put on 3-5 lbs over the course of a day just by eating, etc. I find this upsetting. Will be measuring myself in the afternoons now just to be sure I'm not overestimating my weight loss.
