How much eidee

Is appropriate for kids of various ages, grownups, who deserves eidee who does not , anybody has any theory or research on this topic ?

If there are lots of little kids in the family, i would say £5 each would be sufficient (ages 3 - 11). Ages 12 - 16 £10 each. 17 - 20 £20 each (assuming there are not like 20 of them to pay!)

If they r close to u, and FEWER of them, then more would b ok.

I have been the most poorest eidee-receiver person :frowning:

My friends used to have 600-1000 or 2000 Rupees and I used to have 25 at the max :crying:

bechaara! u make me laugh! I think the most eidee i got one eid when i was young totalled £130 and i felt RICH, RICH, RICH!!! But it all went downhill from there, i noticed the older i got, the less eidee i got.

They gave me the max in their capacity… they are the right ones… but then, they could have given me atleast 10 times more :bummer:

Yahan par koi ristae dar tu hai hee nahi

aur waisai bhi USA mein eidi kahan milti hai...jitni porane zamanae mein eidi milti thi :)

sirf dad eidi daitai hain reasonalbe milti hai :)

Well after reading AQ’s statement I must consider myself very lucky as even back in those good old days I used to snatch around 4,000 PKR on regular basis .

Out of them a grand comes from ma and dad …

Well in Pakistan if you father is a highly valued government official / a business tycoon . It reflects huge on you earning even in case of eidis ….

What a hypocrite society we have in Pakistan ..

Anyone has tips for gaining weight here?

Great generalization again. Our society is not made up of just Defense Societies or Model Towns, there are some middle class or lower middle class mohallas where the status does not play that big a role.
