oh but you know I have seen the difference in tipping amount if the recipient is a guy or a girl.
For guys - usually they do get a better tip than women in same profession. I am guilty of discriminating :( (before that is - not any more)
For example:
Haircut - if a woman is doing a haircut - they get $3
but if it was a guy then it would be $5... (This was in my college day - but now I tip them both equally).
My theory was simple at that time - A MAN has to SHARE that $5 bucks with his family and responsibilities - be it girlfriend whatever... BUT a girl does NOT have to SHARE. They get to keep it for themselves!
So that's why the discrimination.
... and seriously I never mind that a guy in my profession gets MORE pay than me - because he has THAT MANY MORE latched on to him. He NEVER gets to keep the entire amount to himself.

Don't you realize how many working women are supporting their families? Not to mention supporting their husband because he hasn't got a job. Not to mention taking care of their mothers? Sheesh! What world do you live in??
