Anyways, everyone is entitled to their opinions and tipping in itself is a subjective thing. I personally encourage it - perhaps because I’ve had friends who worked their butts off in the service sector only to get paid measly wages (often less than minimal wage) because tips are meant to account for the rest.
I know you mentioned in your earlier post that not giving tips would change this… but the system doesn’t change overnight. I believe that’s why in many European countries, they have fixed gratuities built into the service bill.
