About $600 a month for 2 adults and 1 baby. It’s high because hubby likes to splurge at whole foods

We (Two adults and a 1 1/2 year old) spend approx. AED 200 to AED 250, ie approx. US$ 50 to US$ 70 a week on food including dine-outs, which happen around once or twice a week. Food is one of the few things here in Dubai that is still cheap.

100 - 150 $ per week with two adults and two children and it depends really eating out is more than 40 dollars and if some thing special came like dinner party so it will be more.

I spent Canadian $169.46 (US $144.01) on food in Feb 2007.
So far this month I've spent Canadian $55.

Credit card bill and bank statements.... I only ever buy food on credit or debit cards, it make adding up the cost easier at the end of the month. I've started analyzing my expenditure each month in a big colour-coded excel spreadsheet to try and identify potential areas for cutbacks.

I dont use my credit card when its about food.
I have a budget, I like to spend within....
In dollars it would be perhaps 450....
I keep a reseed for everything I buy..in a sep. envelope.
I try to buy larger stuff at sale and bigger stock
such as rice or cold pressed olive oil etc.
I prefer less "refined" products... organic brown rice
i buy whole organic spelt grain to grind at home.....
so some months are more expensive than others...
But salads, fruits and veg. are a must each day
with either a good steak or pk-ni dish with organic
home made roti.....
You eat lesser when its organic brown rice or
organic spelt roti.....
And yes, I also try to rent movies, buy other
things within the budget. Its fun.....
I make fish and seafood a couple of times
in a week. so....variation is yummy.
Mama, bro and I....but two younger bros
come over too to dine....

I cant even imagine spending less than a few hundred US per month. And that is just on me as I live alone. smack
I need a budgettttttttttttttttttttttt. Infact I set budgets for myself and then I end up exceeding themmmmmmmmmm.
Pathani is that UK currency per month? Organic does tend to be more expensive, though I lub organic milk. Yumm.
