How many separatist movements are in india?

I am confused, if indian posters on GS are to believe, there is no separatist movement in india … may be a “little disturbance” in Kashmir and thats about it. :hmmm:

So I thought to put this question here.

Can anyone enlighten us?

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

The Sikhs, Tamils,Naxilites...etc.....

JERO, NONE, NADA

All big bad ISI propaganda..

lol Tamils? thats in Sri Lanka
Sikhs? that ended around mid 1990s, most of the leaders now live in canada and us, with no support at all
There are naxalites in Assam
There's a so-called movement in Kashmir ( not Jammu) but let me give u another detail, most youngsters are leaving the valley and moving to delhi, bangalore for a better livelihood.

Sikhs & Tamil are not separatist movement....you are probably talking about the decades old kalistan that is long gone ....except probably some crackpots in Canada

naxalites indeed are a concern but they are kept alive by local politics than by any separatist support

I know it is difficult for Pakistanis who don't like India to believe but there is no separatist movement in India that is anywhere in intensity like Baluchistan

Ofcourse there is violence and crime due to other reasons....

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

Tamil seperatists ? Do u mean Tamil Eelam ...which is Sri Lanka Based ?

Anyway, the Title of the Topic should have been "Democracy in Pakistan : Will it be a reality or a distant dream !! "?
It would have evoked much interest..isnt it?

^
:offtopic:

If one follows your analogy than everyone will start asking to change the topic!!!

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

There is one freedom movement going on in South Indian state Karela... By All Kerala Nair Force(A.K.N.F),initially they used to just blown up trains and carriers but now they are possessed with sophisticated weapons like Stingers and other SAM. They have already shot down nearly 10 C-130 planes in the last two decades and carried out numerous attacks on army and naval installations across Karela. This group is headed by a dreaded terrorist(who is now believed to be in Theera(Lai Kotla Agencies),CHAAKKU NAIR.

Other terrorist groups are.....

All karela Tiger force for the liberation of Thiruvananthapuram

Malappuram Striking Force(headed by Abdulla Muthaleeb)

Liberation force for the liberaytion of Allappuzha(Headed by Sanoj)

Ernakulam Marine Drive force(Central Kerala Wing)

Kaduthurutyhy wing for the liberation of Marthomas(Headed by Thommachan Kuttipparambil)

All Karela Kakkan force for the liberation of Kakkan areas .the leader of this group is unknown and is believed to be in Mindanao.

Mnay of these groups are beilieved to be assisted by I.S.I or Srilankan Intelligence.
