How many separatist movements are in india?

WOW...

First it was ISI from Pakistan , then Intelligence Agencies of Bangladesh now Srilankans.. what next Nepalese Intelligence Agency and Bhutan...

Come on Indians, who get some serious problem, stop messing around and stay in ur lane in order to fix things...

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

Jai Andhra ???

Whats that ? Living in Andhra for 20 years and hearing it for first time...

Is this the Jokes section of the forum ?

And yet Pakistan is considered a bad place in media.

The list for Pakistan is not even a 1/4th of that list.
Not trying to change the topic.

Someone did hear about it and made a list on the web. Should we consider your 'hearing' as authentic source???:)

Probably the same reason why India supports terrorists inside Nepal (i.e. NDA who often target Christians). They want to re-estabilish a Hindu Kingdom in Nepal, like the old days. Funny how these elements are never shown in the media, and then they say that they have nothing against Islam.

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

Inspite of all these separatist organisations, India has continued to get very good foreign investment and is growing at a tremendous pace. Yes there are areas where we have problems but that does not mean that India has ceased to exist.

Please understand that there is something called sarcasm. You quote a sarcastic comment and try to build a case around it. How pathetic.

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

There must be a reason for so many people not wanting to live in India.

But off course, no neighboring country of india has RAW like evil agency to incite them and train them to actually get them separated.

I think i have heart somebody's feeling...

But i cannot change reality... all in the world are responsible for the problems in India but the indian govt and their agencies... this is not sarcasm, it what your media and politician claims... and you seems to buy that... fix your problem and then advice others...

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

Doest someone know about Naxal? What is the reason behind their violence in India? I thought before I start googling, someone could give a summary.

For a change, Times of India reports that it has no connection with ISI. Finally, someone is waking up.

Times of India reports about this:

No inputs to suggest Naxalite-ISI links: Govt -India-The Times of India

*…] As many as 217 security personnel and 441 civilians were killed in Naxal violence and action against them till November 30. Over 1,435 incidents of Naxal violence were reported this year till November 30, Jaiswal said, adding that 1,536 Naxalites were arrested in the same period.
*

I really do not understand how you can "Heart" somebody's feeling.

We Indians do understand that we have problems and working towards fixing them. It is not like we are complaining that corruption is prevalent in the society due to a neigbouring country like one of the esteemed poster with his infinite wisdom has understood.

90% of these organisations have never even been heard of .Are you people applying your own mind to prefix some words to the name of the indian states to produce new groups?

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

Should I post detailed information about the 118 or so of these organizations? Haven't heard of them my arse!

Same with most other countries including Pakistan. But no country on earth has this many seperatist/terrorist organizations. 118 for one country is a lot, and only time will tell how long they can be suppressed for.

Re: How many separatist movements are in india?

118 seperatist/terrorist organizations!!! , seems like every one in India need wants to be freed from the Fedrel/Centrel Govt.

It is said that India is democracy... why don't india's democratically elected govt. let them speak and do what they want...

118(if they really exist ) are not too many relative to the population(110 bn) .compare it with Pak!

It is not just said , it is universally accepted tha India is a democracy..Not everyone can be pleased..but this so called seperatist groups don't reallywant to exercise their rights (accorded to them by democracy) and instead are acting under foreign influence.India is surrounded by hostile nations and the number 118 (which seems to shock Mr. hanibal) can be attributed to no. of hostile neighbours we have.
And yeah! don't forget baluchistan..
The issue of Democracy here is like the grapes,
they are sour when you don't get them!!:)

Well 118 is big number,

we have one problem that is Balochistan, and we are sure that once, the consulates of India is removed from Pak-Afghan border this problem will be solved..

but 118.. and that all from neighbours, you mean you indians are angels and have never ever violated a single right of anyone, and its only the ghosts who did all the killing in orissa and gujrat..

you can think and believe what ever you want, and yes you are right, there is no problem in india, there is no uprising minor or major, you can go to bed by believing this..

How many in Pak? According to this logic, the number should be around 20-30. How many in China which has a similar population?

118 acting under foreign influence? Yeah right! One thing that I really dislike about Indians is that they will never accept a problem as their own, rather blame it all on somebody else. Why are ethnic Bodo's discriminated against?

OR their security agencies are nothing but the white elephant...
