actually purchase software either online or in stores? If you do purchase software, then what kind of software do you think its worth paying for?
I’m sure vast majority (including myself) relies on finding software online that could be used without having to pay.
Unfortunately, while making an attempt to obtain a software like that, I ended up getting viruses on my computer because somehow Sun’s Java downloaded it for me. As a result, I ended up formatting. I must say it was very discouraging for me.
Anyway, I usually don’t purchase software. The only types that I would be interested in purchasing would be the MS OSs, MS Office, NAV and the like. That too I would most likely purchase through friends who can get it cheaper.
Other than that, for software like WinRar, I usually try to get hold of versions from the net that I could use for free.
What are some types of software that its better that we purchase rather than resorting to obtaining them for free online?
obtaining them free online? as in cracked/pirated software yeh? do that only from trusted source LOL
my philosophy: AV, Firewall and OS are the only softwares worth paying for, especially AV.
I'd have to agree. AV and OS, plus MS Office I feel are the only software worth paying for. That is because you gotta keep these software updated and you can't do that easily, unless they happen to be original software.
As for firewall, I rely on ZoneAlarm (free version), as I hear it's pretty good.
so whatz his prob if I am, bro you should be on ma side not on his :nono3:, beside comp is not free its my own, only the help is free, cuz I help other ppl too (so can’t say its for free ), as for the software, well lets just say there are ppl who really love me and would do anything for me
ive never made purchases online. i prefer to go to the local market for any purchases. i do search the net for info abt a product but purchase only in the real world.
