the whole point about Audis, and why Audi owners like, is that power is understated, its not on ur face and Owners like that (including myslef) but this takes the biscuit !!!
it is trying to be aggressive yet the designers forgot to follow the same theme throughout the car (i.e they could have donw a bit with the back, the tail lights etc) but left the rest as it was. by putting that front on they are trying to tap into BMW market....i say...no chance!
and talk about that BMW's Bagel......sheeessh ! it will take time gettin used to it.
i love the audi’s! my brother had a S4 before…luxury, fast and reliable! the only downfall which i saw was electrical problem. Like for example, the wiper motor stopped working, then one of the windows jammed up, and heater stoped working I think if audi can work on their electrical problems and make their cars with more comfy seats, then i’d buy one.

Well, if you follow the user groups of BMW and Audi, the enthusiasts are lamenting the new style directions for both auto makers.
Personally, I am more philosophical about the change. A car company has to constantly re-invent itself to remain ahead of the game or to survive in this intensely competetive industry. And I salute them for thinking out of the box. For example, Cadillac practically revamped their whole line up in the last few years with the new sharp angles and aggressive styling. Whether you love it or hate, you have to give them credit for breaking the mold of traditional Cadillacs in order to survive. Nissan did the same thing. So Audi has to keep on moving forward. They can't be stuck with one styling for ever. I say, good for them. And this one ain't too shabby either. More evolutionary than revolutionary, in my view.
dont 4get ppl it was because of Audi, that today, almost every other supercar bows down to...thanks to da Turbo...! & not 2 4get da 1st ever 8 cylinder engine, & da 1st ever All Wheel Drive...:)
audi has done a gr8 job with da TT, & u can see its aggressive marketing bring good results in da market, specially da gulf region...!
I like the new audi. same for the new bmw styling. the old models were getting too dated, the 7 series was so-so but the 5 series was just too bland. the new 5 series rocks and will be my next car, unless I get an A6 instead.
Cras evolve designs evolve, some ccharacteristics remain and some are lost with time. Merc had faced the same when it went from roundish to squarish and then back to roundish headlights.
The new mustang reminds me of the old Mach1 the front especially, def a kewl car.
The other day I saw a new Mustang on the road. Frankly, the only reason I looked at it was because it was the first one I had seen on the road, but the car is not really all that, atleast from an exterior styling viewpoint. Atleast I didn't like it. I guess Ford enthusiasts who like retro designs will fall for it. Plus I have heard they are offering some good engines in that thing.
I test drove the new 530i a few weeks ago. Its a nice car. I didn't find iDrive to be a problem either, though a lot of people complain a lot about it and its called I-Drive-While-You-Change-The-Radio-Station. :)
Is it just me, or do you all feel that ML has not only dated, but has also run out the welcome. Mercedes is still unwilling to redesign their SUV. This SUV is essentially unchanged since 1998, when it was first launched. I have rented it a few times, and there is nothing in it that calls you back. Its on the same starting price range as MDX or XC90.
ML $37,950
MDX $39,525
X5 $41,700
XC90 $36,615
Toureg $37,140
X5 gets top marks from me. MDX is the best value for money. XC90 is underpowered and Toureg is pretty damn good. ML just lucks out due to its dated styling.
Faisal, da new ML, has been redesigned inside out...lets see, & Mercedes has a policy of changing its shapes every 7 years approximately, with da Xception of da SLR & SL
Da best SUV by far is now da new Range Rover & with its new sports version out, it will really take da market by storm...this is da situation in da Gulf right now...every sheikh wants a range...
Land cruiser is da king of da desert so it remains seated on its throne, while these baby's try their luck on getting da throne. H2 did give it a slight tremble, but it didnt scare it away, so we will have to wait & see.
The new stangs look amazing to me. I dunno about whats under the hood but they sure have done thier job styling the exterior.
And the new-look audi looks pretty hot aswell. Eventhough the old look wasn't bad either, i dig this one even more.
