Recently we traveled via Southwest and you know how these dudes are with their announcements...
So he says: "In the unlikely event of loss of cabin pressure, the oxygen masks will automatically be released. Pull a mask towards you, covering nose and mouth, adjust the headband and breathe normally. Wear your mask first, then help children and those who need your assistance. And if you have 2 kids, put the mask on the one with the greater potential!!!"
:D
He joked about it but seriously if you could only save one child how would you choose. Like if there are conjoined twins and having an operation means one will die would you go through with the operation and save one child or risk losing both kids by not having it??
Re: how many of you would secure your life before saving your kids
^ i'd go for the operation! better to have one child than none at all!
Re: how many of you would secure your life before saving your kids
Given my background, and years of training my mind for these specific kind of situations.... i tend to think in a logical way in the given scenarios...
Put my children in the equation? Well, i would like to think and hope that my inclination for logic would take over... but realistically....
Re: how many of you would secure your life before saving your kids
Tough question bebo, though SCG gave the right answer but it would be a tough going
I I mean be honest, how many of you took your child out of car seat in your laps just for 15 mins maybe while going long dist. Your kid was in that crampy child seat from last 4 hours, crying because of discomfort so you took him/her out. Logic? I dont think so.
never taken her out of her seat and put her on my lap.... ok two weeks ago we had to go 10meters in a deserted carpark, that's all
but i would never risk putting her on my lap. dunno why. We'll stop the car and get her out and let her stretch but wont take her out of car seat
HOWEVER, that being said.... when travelling alone back from abu dhabi, i took her out of those stupid bassinets and kept her with me. Every 5 minutes the alarm comes on to fasten ur seatbelts.. and id have to take her out of the bassinet and palce on her my lap... better just keep here therei say
