Waiters made mistake by changing tables ? well no comments on that! cuz still you can see what you ordered!
and you orders vegetable but they bring pork and you eat ? ... well again no comments as I made my point really clear in my earlier post!
How in the world if I order Palak-paneer and they bring Pork fry and I still have to trust the waiter and not trusting myself?

You know how I made the mistake? I ordered, tofu dish in an indian restaurant in France & they mistakenly used the big spoon they had used to make pork curry to put my food from sauce pan into the dish, some pieces of pork came in my food. So when I chewed the food, it was meat I could feel it, I took it out of my mouth & it was pink. I started yelling at them, & of course they said they will make a new dish & wont charge blah blah blah but I simply walked out of there.
Now, if someone is so scared, he has two choices, stop going to restaurants, since u dont know if even halal is really halal & buy goat or chicken & slaughter it urself & make food at home, just to be sure its really & actually halal.
Apparently there is halal pork available in Turkey. In Pakistan there have been many cases when donkey was mixed with other meat - Opps now wat to do? .. :LB:
Yes eating right is v.important - but saving world from illeteracy, hunger, diseases is more noble? Don't you agree?
once i orderd veg fried rice(nomeat) from chineas resturant ,(@WORK) therer were some red bits i thought they r red bellpepper.after 2 spoons i feel kind of weird feeling..and all of a suuden i got rashes on my whole body,i was itching like crazy,@ that i was working in CVS as a photo tech,,our pharmacist gave me some med,,,i called that resturant and they said that it was there mistake..yuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk..
I am gori, live in usa and grew up with a bit of pork in my diet. I DO completely understand and respect though, how forbidden it is for Muslims.
My husband's devout grandfather was here for a visit one winter and I heated a can of Bean Soup to go with his lunch. HOW he enjoyed it! When I was rinsing out the can, I saw in the ingredients that it had bacon in it!!! OHHHHHH NOOOOOOOO!!! I did not have the heart to tell Grandfather. :( He kept asking to have more of that soup for lunch over the next days - I just kept telling him that they were out of it at the store.
mistakes like this happen especially when living in a non muslim society. besides as far as allah goes, He is most forgiving.
I personally havent had anything happened to me but Master W2 once came across a pepperoni piece on a cheese pizza at a cub scout meeting when he was in kindergarten, he threw a crying fit :( and scared a bajesus out of his den mother, :p
Sushi is alot more better … .I tell ya…minus the imitation crab bit (it just tastes crabby thats all)
and btw, how can ppl not know that ceaser salad has bacon bits most of the time I guess sometimes we pretend being too cool, without really knowing kay falan cheez kesi banti hie. Cuz we’re trying to compete how chic burgers we are but full paindos deep inside.
I agree with** ATA**, no matter what. We all are given brains/eyes and all those 5 senses to use in order to assess whatever goes on in our daily lives.
this is funny my brother had a hot dog back in school,(he was like 10) when he told me and my sister, we told he it was haram he got so scared and didnt want my parents to find out,
well becoz he was such a annoying brother :D we blackmailed him for like 3 years(no joke) me and my sister got him to do everything, now i feel so bad when i think about it he was just a kid and made a mistake and he laughs at how he let me and my sister make a mug of him.
well atleast he never ate another hot dog agian! ahh bless him :)
well pork...hmmm.... i think it must have gone into my system many times n many others ppls stomachs too, im sure there is no1 here who can say they have never ate sweets with gelatine in them its only recently like past 10yrs where its actually been highlighted(well thats wat i think), only since i have found out it comes from pork did i stop eating sweets n stuff with gelatine n made sure all the things i ate wre vegie friendly
That’s ridiculous. I dunno how many times you have had caesar salad in your life…but it comes with croutons (brown colored)…usually pieces are broken up with parmesan cheese and the caesar dressing. Most often they do NOT contain bacon in it, all my life i have neve rhad bacon in it. But apparently some places put in bacon bits…which are like ultra crumbled anyways…
sp plz accidents can happen. Once in grammar school, I was served breaded pork instead of breaded fish…i had asked for fish…how on earth was i supposed to know the lunchlady gave me pork instead of fish…until i cut it open.
I guess you guys are really up on not doing anything haram like eating pork. Lets talk about another haram. How many people have told lies? How many people have at least one credit card and pay interest? How many people have talked about or gossiped about people? How many people have 'stolen' money by not paying enough zakat or not doing enough charity. Its easy to not eat pork, avoid alcohol and eat halal meat all that other stuff is just as haram. So don't so proud of yourself, only God knows whoes balance of good deeds outweighs their bad deeds.

as a 5 year old at school the dinnerlady put a big fat SAUSAGE on my plate. Not knowing what is was i ate it. Was kinda new tasting, spicy.
When i was about 16 I turned vegetarian so I also dont discriminate.
If I was to eat meat I would eat PORK as its tastiest meat in my view! (from what I remember). I love fake pork products now, like VEGI HOTDOGS. You can also get TOFURKY (fake turkey), fake DUCK, vegi MEATBALLS
So once I bit into a MINCE MEAT samosa and spat it out. I ordered a vegi one from the deli (the had put the vegi tag in the wrong ones)
Also once my cousin and brother ordered SPAR RIBS from what they thought was a fully halal CHICKEN shop. they loved them. turned out to be PORK LOL
Also my uncles went to holland. They where served HORSE MEAT!
In pakistan one of my work friends goes PIG SHOOTING! He says its a great time in hunting pigs. I dont think he eats them tho.

You had a reaction to pork? That is pretty extreme. Pigs are disgusting animals and field trip to the zoo when I was 6 years old confirmed it. I have never eaten Pork, may G-d forgive me if I ever have without knowing.
My mother did have a bit of soup before realizing that there was bits of bacon in it. She spat it out and that nights dinner ruined, the restaurant blacklisted :)
