Now you’re just inventing stuff to complicate laws Allah SWT made simple and easy for us. In fact the Quran talks about how it was a Jewish practice to create new rules and restrictions (Passover just passed – do you know how arduous a task it is to keep up with the kitchen and dietary rules for that?!?), and we are cautioned against doing the same.

huh? how is that complicating things? I’m sorry but I would rather be safe and eat only zabiha halal when it is so readily available.

That’s fine; eat only Zabihah. Obviously there is nothing wrong with that. I’m just saying people should not make Haram what Allah SWT made Halal.
