How many of you eat Kosher?

Not to some people though, right? Your definition of halal was ‘what is allowed’ and zabiha was ‘slaughtered in the name of Allah swt’ but for a lot of Muslims ‘allowed’ meat by definition means slaughtered in the name of Allah swt. I’m not saying I agree with it, but I hear people say ‘zabihah doesnt mean halal’ a lot and its kind of a minute point…we all understand that usually when people say halal meat, they mean meat which is slaughtered in accordance with the appropriate religious rules… Everyone knows chicken and beef are allowed and pork isn’t, the point of contention is whether its necessary to be slaughtered in a particular way or whether we can just eat any old chicken, beef or lamb.
