It's so much easier than screaming and I have a greater rate of success in getting an aswer.

My mum sometimes calls me by phone when she's upstairs. In uni my roommate and I used to msn each other in the same room haha.

sometimes....usually in a gathering.......where someone is sitting.....and instead of whispering.......sms works best :D

All the time, my mom even calls us to her room or for dinner by calling us. We foward each other messages too, and sometimes bug each other if we're online on msn. Oh and we all are on the same floor. lol

it actually helps when in a mehfil, you want to backbite about someone who is sitting right there. :D

My sister was downstairs, and I wanted to describe something…but you know when you can’t describe it without hand gestures? I turned my webcam on to explain it to her.

I text my siblings all the time, sometimes I’ll tell mum to pick up the other phone too :o

My husband comments on my pix/statuses on facebook, and once I replied back...and someone thought that was kinda weird.

I know a few yeras back it was considered weird or strange but thankfully that's changed nwo :D

whenever i need tea in my home office i txt her :D

oh and did I tell you, sometimes I have to walk to her and tell her "oyee apna text parhoo" ...and go back to my home office

In Pakistan because of our home exchange wasn't working so we send sms's or calls to wake or ask ..

For example: "dad's calling: gayaara (11) bajh gey hain.. uth jaoo" ..
or mom: "neechey aa jao .. . nashtaa thanda ho raha hia .. ya doon tumhare daddy ko phone" ..

etc.. etc.. it's fun ...

i dont do that. itne faltoo credit nahi hota mobile main. and surely aisa karne pe maa baap se daant pare gi.

I think that texting someone in the same house when they are perhaps a few meters from you is utter Jahileeyat… then again most folk would eqaully call me a Jahil for roaring my voice up and down the house everytime I want a cookie or something… :rotfl:
