Re: How many of you believe in UFO sightings and stories?
Two things...do I believe that people saw stuff flying that they couldn't identify, sure, hence the term UFO. In terms of people actually being abducted by aliens and all, well I'm not sure what that could be but** I also wouldn't say that everyone having made the claim is lying.**
The bolded and the underlined statement shares my thoughts as well.So many people at so many places can not lie altogether. I am sure various governments are hiding things.I am surprised why American public is so callous.
Re: How many of you believe in UFO sightings and stories?
Will our generation find an end to the questions related to UFOs?
But seriously I do believe in the existence of UFO's.The reasons being the nearly can be trusted' spotted stories and almost identicalpicturisation' of these creatures worldwide.
And one more thing,These creatures must be very highly technically advanced.Because they are able to land on our planet but we have not travelled beyond moon .
I would probably go as far as saying I believe in other life forms. I don't think earth is the only planet in the universe with some sort of living entity. However, UFOs (flying objects not from earth) flying across our skys and no one has any solid video proof or anything? Just stories of noises and lights? I find it hard to believe someone elses version of events. Even area 51 had me really interested at one point, but you grow up eventually and face facts. I guess it can happen, there are always theories and reasons why people not from earth with mega flying ships wanna roam in our world unnoticed but if you give it enough thought, you'll realise maybe you haven't seen them because they aren't as "advanced" as one might think. Maybe humans are leading the race with space technology, again. All theory. Who knows what the future holds though, If it does happen, I don't think I will see it in my lifetime anyway.

In the early 80's my grandmother and another relative were out late at night. They claim to have seen a disk shaped object hovering silently over a hill. Now some might make the argument that she was influenced by popular culture, sci-Fi etc, but the village at that time had very few TVs and those that had it only had one channel and they only ever watched dramas and Khabrnama. So she had no reference on which to base such a sighting, yet she described seeing an object exactly the way they describe in the US or other places.
Although she has since passed away, the other woman who is still alive still describes it vividly.. I spoke to her in 2004.
The same night, a retired Air force gunner, trained to spot enemy aircraft, was trying to sleep on his churpai on the roof of his home as is custom in the summer. He also claimed that a strange disk shaped object flew over his house which he could not identify.

There have been so many people who have seen similar things that it is almost unimaginable that this is all a figment of ones imagination.
Even Ronald Reagan is said to have seen a UFO.
And if we're being frank, in the real of belief, UFOs are far more believable then religion.
Re: How many of you believe in UFO sightings and stories?
Although this story is not very exciting, I'll tell it anyways. One day, I was out in broad daylight, cheering my friend in rugby when at the end of the game, I noticed a flying object in the sky that seemed to be following a path which was highlighted with blackish headlights kind of. It was strange because at first I thought oh it's black smoke coming from the engine, creasing the sky as the plane moved forward but no, the black lights were ahead of it. As it was covering the path, the black lines were disappearing. I made sure to ask all of my friends if they were seeing the same thing I was and we all agreed, it was kind of strange.

paging scientologist recruitment wing. Xenu worshippers will be with you momentarily.
LOL! He has a point, Queer. You never watched/read Chariots of Gods or Ancient Aliens. They will change the gullible minds pretty quickly.
Re: How many of you believe in UFO sightings and stories?
Greek gods= The Anunnaki. It’s not actually as far fetched as we think. If we can think about colonizing an alien planet then why couldn’t it have been done already here on earth by another alien species? The next best thing to human evolution is aliens injecting humanoid gene in Homo Heidelbergensis or Homo Erectus species. Maybe they came and left and we are still suffering from PTSD long after their departure. We recreate them in elaborate stories and call them religions. Who knows!

Now make of that what you will.
I believe they exist. So many people can not be wrong all the time.

I think so too. I have sneaky suspicion that there is an entire universe just perfused with intelligent life at multiple stages of development. Its absurd to believe otherwise i think.
We have only been searching for life on planets that WE consider potentially habitable according to our own frame of reference. But life can evolve in so many ways. For instance, while we are looking for a planet with water and oxygen, life could have evolved on a planet where the predominant element is methane. So if we could broaden our vision to include places we consider inhospitable to humans, that means potentially infinite number of possibilities and an astonishingly mind blowing number of alien species.

Even the Rosewell incident was real.Area 51.
I think government/s are trying to cover up something.
