Some of the things that I have been asked
are you hindu
are you indian
are you an arab
are you an arabian
are you an arabic
are you hispanic
are you native american
although the people who have been exposed to many indians and Pakistanis in school or at work would ask me whee I was from and when i would tell them to take a guess, they would say either Pakistani or North Indian, so I guess exposure and knowledge has a lot to do with it.
Its kinda the same when my pals from Taiwan are "chinese" to everyone.
or how canadians are "american" to desis.
dont even get me started on how many poor latvians or lithianians are considered "russians"
oh well. such is life.

India is a melting pot of people with various shapes and sizes. From Chinese looking Manipuris and Nagas in the east to fair-skinned Marathis in the west, from dark skinned Dravidians in the South to well-built Sikhs/Punjabis in the North West, and then you have good looking Kashmiri Hindus/Muslims in the North and going down are slightly built UP-ites, Biharis and Bengalis in what is India's Cowbelt.
So it all depends on whom the Pakis are comparing themselves too.
But I do concede that Pakis have more well-rounded butts than average Indians.
yeah i was asked a few times if i was an indian,dunno why
nobody will ask iranian orafgans are you indians they clearly look not indians pakistanis somewhat fall in between. nobody will ask bangaldeshis since they look 100% indians and becomes a matter ofnationality.

I've been asked if i'm really a gora inside an asian persons skin though...

i have been asked that a lot too .
People know india better because they are from a huge piece of land and they are everywhere..... particularly on TV these days..from teletubbies to "being april" ...in UK I mean!!!
Yeah i was asked once but usually people just ask where i am from!!!

Its impossible to tell the difference, We LOOK ALIKE...
I used to think the same thing to once. Unless your talking about accents. Then its simple.
Hmmm interesting topic. Personally I couldn't tell the difference between an indian and a pkaistani perosn just by first impressions, maybe if i actually talked to them then I would be able to tell.
Not so much Americans b/c after all AMERICA has all shades of people & they are satisfied as long as you say american & they never have accepting that b/c all featured ppl. are american now .
i never said but i think pakistannis are 1/3 india & 2/3 INDIA ,hindu took away
