but still people do it…i am not only speaking for my self but tonnes of other teenage friends of mine!!

I dont know where Islam says directly that masturbation is sin, its a debatable topic in Islam and no definite conclusion has been reached as to whether its permitted or not.
However, if psychologically speaking, this behavior accentuates itself in those people who are stressed, highly dissatisfied with their love lives, and/or depressed. Also, studies have been done in which a good hearty majority of mastubators say that the experience leaves them feeling empty and more depressed. On the other hand, in some medical circles, the behavior is encouraged so that physician/surgeon is in a relaxed state for his/her duty. This may sound absurd to some, granted, but basing my opinion on this limited knowledge presented, I would not say that its wrong necessarily, but I would say that it should be avoided. If you're that hungry for it, get married!

Have we not recently disscussed the 'fawayeds' of masturbation ? Anywyas, I assume that you are curious about moral perspective on masturbation (otherwise you would have posted it in religion forum right?). I say that that it's ok for you to gratify yourself if you do not have a partner. You are more likely to pay attention to other things if you have already had your fill. However, keep it in check, otherwise you may find yourself looking for help when you do manage to find a girl (this applies especially to you cooldude).

Everything I wanted to say is mentioned above. It is natural, absoulety normal. I do not think single guys can go longer without relieving themselves. However do not get used to of it, because once you do get a girl, errrr you might face some serious complications and problems. Some guys prefer touching themselves over a girl (that is if you get used to), seriously trust me I know.

I believe that masturbation is wrong.
Well personally the act of masturbation to me is disgusting and something that would probably leave me feeling depressed.
The Catholic Church considers it a sin.
That ends my debate.

how because, one reaches the same state which one reaches after the sex.

i think ppls do it for pleasure specially those who dun wanna have any physical relations with any one so they prefer masturbration inorder to overcome there desires..
