Never seen or heard of this fluffy custard thing. The cake looks nice, not too sure about the topping. Is it a brummie thing? BTW, i do like custard danish.

Yeah, so do i! Specially syrup sponge pudding with custard. Jam roly-polies were nice too. And apple n blackberry crumble.

THey also made some delicious chocolate gateaux for puddings too.

I LOOOOVE** OLD-FASHIONED CHOCOLATE-ECLAIRS** ...with their light pastry shells covered with chocolate glaze........and that scrumptious** custard** filling. Oh, the French are brilliant....with their deserts!

I love custard to death but I have no clue how to make it. All I remember is that mum used to serve it chilled and it was solid, not liquidy. Does anyone knows how to make that?:cheegum:**
